jeremyt Posted December 15, 2007 Posted December 15, 2007 Did any of you get outside tonight to see the meteors. I took my lab out for the last head call for the night and saw about 15-20. It was awesome, I was lucky to be able to run inside and get the wife and kids and enjoy it as a family. It was amazing to see them bust into the atmosphere as a bright blue. I really enjoyed it. Super User Long Mike Posted December 15, 2007 Super User Posted December 15, 2007 Jeremy, as you know, I've been freezing my azz off for the last five days. The very last thing I wanted to do this evening was to take a stroll with my dog when I finally have heat in my home. Besides, it's pouring rain, so I doubt that I would have seen any meteors. That said, I wish I could have been there. I never tire of watching meteor showers. Quote

Super User roadwarrior Posted December 15, 2007 Super User Posted December 15, 2007 No chance here. I have been looking forward to this event, but heavy cloud cover prevented this part of the country from viewing the shower. Quote

Super User Sam Posted December 15, 2007 Super User Posted December 15, 2007 Did not know about it. Am in Virginia so maybe we did not get it. Darn. I hate when that happens and you guys have all the fun. Quote
Super User .dsaavedra. Posted December 15, 2007 Super User Posted December 15, 2007 i saw one meteor last night. and then i saw a UFO....it looked like a meteor, but it looked like a firework...it was bright green like a firework, but it never exploded or made noise, and it was short lived like a meteor. ps... i saw both of these around nine o'clock while on an ATV ride. i never even knew there was going to be a meteor shower.
