I don't drink much, but when I do there is nothing like  a fine Tequila.  For the last couple years my favorite has been Herradura Seleccion Suprema.  For mixed drinks I ave really taken a liking to a good mojito or a caipirinha, which is made with brazilian rum.

Sorry, no drama here. . . I drink good old Coke or Dr. Pepper.  However, back when I did, I really liked Strawberry Daquiri's.  I just had problems with the volume of drinks I consumed. :-[

I like beer.  Each Thursday, I meet my future father-in-law at a local microbrewery/restaurant for dinner and a couple beers.

It is called Appalachian Brewing Company.  My current favorite is their Grinnin' Grizzly...nice beer with a cinnamon aftertaste.

My other favorite there is the Riverside Red.  Think "Killian's" but much better.

We belong to the "Mug Club" and have our own personalized mugs that are kept on site for whenever we visit.  I am #10   ;)

Other than those, I enjoy trying new beers whenever I get the chance.  I am not able to do the "beer snob" comparisons, but I thoroughly enjoy sampling whatever I can find.

Just like this: http://www.tasteofcuba.com/mojito.html

Otherwise in the summer (Bombay) gin & tonic; in the winter Scotch.

Wine year around.

And of course beer, but in the South, as John Daly has stated on several occasions,

"beer doesn't count". ::)

Any particular favorite types?  Light, Dark?  Maybe I could bring you some northern suds to Guntersville...

I am a beer man. I keep it simple and usually switch between Coors Light and Bud Light. Currently I am on the Coors Light kick. I also enjoy Boulevard Wheat when having a burger or pizza (bar food) and Tequiza with Mexican food.

Other than that you might catch me with a Vodka Tonic from time to time. I did have a Mojito for the first time this summer. That was pretty tasty.

IMO nothing goes better with a nice cigar than a nice glass of bourbon or scotch. I'll usually throw a couple pieces of ice in. For Bourbon I like Rip Van Winkle and Woodford Reserve. When I drink Scotch I like Islay Scotch. It has a rich smoky flavor. Goes great with a cigar. I like Lagavulin, Laphroig, Bowmore.

bud...bud...Bud...Budweiser...

I also like St. Pauli Girl Dark and Heineken Dark if you can find them "fresh".

Unfortunately a lot of imports tend to get skunky due to shipping delays.

Do you have a favorite regional, full-bodied dark beer?

I've noticed this as well, especially with corona. but that could be due to the clear bottles.

First and foremost, beer.  If I'm having a couple, something darkish - no particular favorites, but I'll usually get Sam Adams when I'm at a restaurant.

For hot summer days, or when I'll be drinking many beers, nothing beats Miller Lite

For mixed drinks my choice is gin & tonic (preferably Tanqueray - is that how you spell it?)

And occasionally I like a nice whiskey neat.  I have a nice bottle I'm saving for a special occasion - 30 yr old Ballantine's.  Gonna be delicious  ;D

But in short, beer, and Miller Lite.  Always a good call.

I like Heineken icy cold, but there is absolutely NOTHING worse than a skunked, slightly warm, Heineken.  I think I'd rather drink poop.

Although I'm partial to Jonnnie Walker Black Label 12 yr old scotch, my choice would have to be my own natural spring water.  When you sip this almost ice cold spring water, the word PURE takes on a new meaning.  It's from a very small spring that comes out of the base of a mountain on 30 acres of land we own in the Poconos.  Several species of Darters and salamanders, listed in PA as endangered and threatened because the can only tolerate the purest of water, live in the spring and only 1/10th mile downstream of where the spring enters Hunters Creek.

Not a great driker here either but when it comes to that even though I 'm more a beer guy ( XX Lager Especial ) I won 't refuse whisky ( Johnny Walker Black or Blue Label ) or Wyborova vodka, and tha 's about it, tequila or mezcal ........ won 't even sniff at it; brandy, cognac or armagnac ..... I don 't like sweet liquors nor creams like Amaretto, Sambuca n 'stuff like that.

Zel,  I take it you would rather drink Salamander poop instead?   ;D

Vodka on the rocks-any brand as long as it is top shelf

Chianti seems to be the wine of choice lately. 2003 Ruffino Reserve to be exact.

For beer, since I am in St. Louis, it is usually an Anheuser-Busch product.

Sometimes Scotch when I am with clients...I had 21yr old Balvenie a while back. wow-smooth and tasty
