Cheddar.

A strong cheddar.

Nothing better than a really strong cheddar either alone on on a sandwhich.

I love cheeses but we have very different tastes.  You like those super strong ones, my favorites are the ones usually served with or in a food as opposed to eaten solo.

Stuff like

Feta

Goat

cheddars

Mozzerellas

Gorgonzola's (Love it on filet mignon)

Americans

Provolones

Not a big fan of the Havarti's and other heavy flavored ones.  I also hate it when they add to them like pepperjack

I am with Robert, love the Bleu Cheese...

However, Tillamook Cheddar is about as good as cheddar cheese gets in my opinion.  You folks in the Pacific Northwest, know what I am talking about.....

I heard that Avid loves cheese too, his favorite is the cutting part for some reason?

Chefs Salad with French/ Blue Cheese Dressing

Romaine lettuce

Hard Salami

Cherry tomatoes, halved

Cubed cucumber

Celery chopped fine

Diced walnuts

Blue cheese

French salad dressing

Add chunks of blue cheese to French dressing (two parts cheese to one part dressing) and set aside.

Mix salad ingredients and top with dressing.

Serve with hot French bread and Coppola Claret wine or your favorite Cabernet Sauvignon.

I love cheese. My favorite is Blue cheese. But it has to have the right moisture content. I hate it dry. My favorite is Nauvoo Blue cheese but they got bought out by some Wisconsin company and shut down. I was mad.

My favorite snack is

Ritz Crackers

Blue Cheese or extra sharp cheddar

Strawberry Jam.

It is outstanding.

LBH,

That's what I thought at first but cracker, jam and cheese is a regular mid day snack in Norway. After hearing about it I had to give it a try and I have to say it is yummy.

My other love is High Dollar 100 year old Balsamic Vinegar. I love it with fruit.

Fluke, I've been stuck on a salad you might like

Greens (I like mescaline greens)

raisins (not a lot)

pears and/or apples

cucumber

Croutons

Crumbled feta

Walnuts and/or sunflower seeds

Balsamic and honey, nuked for just a second and drizzled on top

One of the girls that lives downstairs has a mini collection of balsamics, I never realized the many subtle differences before.
