LAO162 Posted May 13, 2008 Posted May 13, 2008 Do you ever use little baggies for organizing hooks, sinkers, snaps, etc.? If so what type do you use, and where do you get them? Thanks, Leon Quote
Super User Alpster Posted May 13, 2008 Super User Posted May 13, 2008 I couldn't be without them. All of my stuff is segregated in small zip-lock type bags and put into my 3700 boxes. You can buy the little ones in several sizes at craft stores like "Michael's" or "A.C. Moore". I use them to organize rod building parts and small parts in the garage also. They are great! LAO162 Posted May 13, 2008 Author Posted May 13, 2008 Thanks Ronnie, I was thinking they'd be great in my 3700. I was in Michaels twice this weekend. It never occurred to me to look for the baggies there. Thanks! Quote
Super User Bankbeater Posted May 13, 2008 Super User Posted May 13, 2008 I use old prescription pill bottles. The ones with the twist cap child proof tops. You rinse them out first and then your good to go. Quote
von Posted May 14, 2008 Posted May 14, 2008 Those little baggies are the greatest thing! Keeps my hooks from rusting and a real space saver. I also like to write the size of the hook or whatever on the bag, makes searching for a particular size alot easier. Quote
wagn Posted May 14, 2008 Posted May 14, 2008 great idea, i'm going to be doing this as well, writing the size and weight will be real helpful for the little odds and ends Quote
