Well it has happened again. Last week a man in the Houston area called 911 and told them a man was burglerizing his neighbors home. Told the operator he had a gun and was going to shoot the burgler to protect his neighbors property. He argured with the911 operator and yep you could hear the shotgun go off. Scratch one burgler. He has not been indited. Today it happened again(Twice). Man had been robbed twice this week allready so he went home to find another burgler stealing his stuff. Scratch burgler #2. Man in Porter just north of Houston shot another one just about an hour ago. No word if he survived. Guess it is roundup time. I am locked and loaded.

I have a hunch that burglers could drastically reduce their odds of being shot by getting a job and not robbing people's houses anymore. This is just a hunch.  ;)

Any no-gooder who tries to break into my house will regret it. In my room I got well locked doors and weapons on the walls. If somebody breaks down the door I'll be waiting on the other side armed to the teeth and ready for defense.

I think anyone who breaks into a texas home is taking a big risk. But like alpster said, thats just a hunch. ;)

The way things are going these days, you better have something to protect yourself with. Dadgum people are getting mean as hell. They will kill you for next to nothing. Then the courts do nothing about it. I can see us becoming vigilantes in the near future. You aren't going to have any choice but to do what you have to do. The law can not protect you. :-/

I guess If some one broke in to my house I would let them take what wever they want. But they should get scared by my dog. Hes 130 lbs and has a nasty bark. But all he will do I lick you to death. But I have seen him go crazy with some one he dosn't know. AS for gun I will only use it if theres a woman in the house. Or in the future if I have kids.

I have a different attitude towards thevies.  If u break in my house Fat Boy and Thumper will gladly greet you.

Fat Boy: Remington 870 Pistole Grip 12ga Pump Loaded with seven 3 inch Magnum Slugs  ;D

Thumper: Glock 19 9mm with 19 Rounds of Black Talons ;D

Neither one of them two will let a theif get a word in till they are through talking.

Dead man tell no tells >:(

If someone breaks into your house, you should be able shoot them dead. They are not breaking in because they want to have a tea party.

not completely sure about this one but ive heard of a law or somthing like that, were if your house is tempting enough that they cant be held accountable for breaking in, then again i may have part of this wrong or be missing part just thought id share it  :)

Unless you are sitting there with the gun in your hand, you won't stand a chance.

When they come it happens so quick it catches you by surprise. You best have a gun with the serial numbers filed to put in his hand if he doesn't have one.

Because if you shoot him you are going to be in big trouble. Just three months ago a 67 year old man and his wife were selling vegetables at a parking area

that they go to each Friday. A 16 year old thug tried to still his cash box and grabbed his wife by the arm and the man grabbed a pistol from his truck and

told him to back off, which he did and then put his hand in his pocket. That's when the old man shot and killed him. Last week they gave this 67 year old man 12 years in prison for Man Slaughter. This picture just doesn't sound right does it.

What would you have done? We were all sure that he would be set free.

But the judge would not let the jury find him not guilty as an option.

They were instructed to find him guilty of 1st, 2nd degree murder or manslaughter. Half of eastern NC are protesting the verdict and trying to get what help we can to get it overturned. That gentleman had no idea when he left the house that morning that he would have to shoot somebody.

So thank about it. I will let you know what the final out come is.

Yup, like the robber who breaks into your house and falls down and fractures his foot running out. Then sues you and wins. >:( Whats up with like that?

<--------------------------------------------------------Anyway, she wont let them walk out, lol

They should say "guilty until proven innocent". The court systems are so messed up its not even funny. If your a pot dealer you get 7 years but rapists go free in 2 or 3. A guy climbs into your attic falls through the roof breaking a foot or some crap like that and sues the home owner, what kinda crap is that? Its like the judges and jury dont think logically. step back and look at the bigger picture of what really happened in certain situations instead of playing it by the book for example like frogtog said, hes 67 and NOT a threat to society and fearing for his wifes life he shoots a kid for trying to rob them and then reaching into his pocket which the man had no clue what he was reaching for, instead they look at it as a man shot a kid for robbing them. It amazes me how dumb people can be sometimes. Ok im done ranting. and its hard to say what most people would do if some did in fact break into there home. I dont own guns but i have a Louisville slugger that i can probly hit a homerun with. Hopefully it never comes to that though.

Texans are incredibly friendly, to invited guests, during calling hours.   ;)  If you come into my house uninvited in the middle of the night, you are there to harm my family or property - I always err on the side of caution....

Game over.
