Super User Matt Fly Posted November 30, 2007 Super User Posted November 30, 2007 First off, I hope Farve is okay! Now tap the brakes just alittle. Green Bay isn't dead. Rogers isn't looking too bad since he settled down. The kid played great college ball. #2 overall in the draft, he's got talent. Now go Cowboys. This is not the same team that got beat by the Patriots. See Packers just stuffed the 4th down attempt. packers aren't dead. Our defense with Ellis now playing into season form is made the other side respected also. Newman is playing, so hopefully is ankle holds up. Nice Sack, Greg Ellis. i'm watching the game. Quote
frogtog Posted November 30, 2007 Posted November 30, 2007 I can't even get the game on my cable? > Pay a $100 a month and can't get a NFL game on Thursday night > I guess the NFL is going to be pay per view also Just wait till tomorrow I will have Direct tv Quote

frogtog Posted November 30, 2007 Posted November 30, 2007 Oh I'm not the only one that can't get the game? Quote
Super User 5bass Posted November 30, 2007 Super User Posted November 30, 2007 Oh I'm not the only one that can't get the game? No. Not by a long shot. The NFL Network is only reaching a very minimal amount of TV's anywhere. There is a big battle going on with the NFL and the major TV and cable networks.....its been a hot topic all week on ESPN radio which I listen to 24-7. The next big stink about the NFL Network will be the Patriots final game of the season against the Giants. If the Patriots are going for the undefeated season, you'll definitely be hearing a bunch of people hating on the NFL Network then because hardly anybody will be able to see history being made. Quote
Super User Tin Posted November 30, 2007 Super User Posted November 30, 2007 So much for a tail kicking, 27-24 with 9 to go. 5BL there should be a battle, this is probably one of ifnot the biggest regular season game of the year and most people cant watch it. The day I cant watch a Patriots game I will go nuts. And I'm sure after of New England calls and complains to COX it will probably be in there line-up. Quote
Super User 5bass Posted November 30, 2007 Super User Posted November 30, 2007 GO PACK!! Make the Cowgirls play at Lambeau in the playoffs! Dome games suck! Quote
Super User Tin Posted November 30, 2007 Super User Posted November 30, 2007 I think it might just be out of reach now, 34-24 with 5 to go > > > > > Quote

Evan Pease Posted November 30, 2007 Posted November 30, 2007 37-27!!! How about them cowboys??? Quote
Super User grimlin Posted November 30, 2007 Super User Posted November 30, 2007 What about them? ;D Oh yeah, screw the NFL for not letting us watch the game on tv. Quote
Super User Tin Posted November 30, 2007 Super User Posted November 30, 2007 lol Ya, just not cool, bad choice by the NFL. Why couldnt they have schedueled that Miami-Pittsburgh game tonight? And the Pack and Cowgirls Monday night. o well The NHL started doing this too after the lock-out. So I cant watch a bunch of Bruins games because some NHL channel you have to pay extra for carries them. Quote
GeneinTX Posted November 30, 2007 Posted November 30, 2007 I got to watch the game...... pretty good. I am just glad the wind wasn't blowing or it was raining or I wouldn't have seen it on the dish LOL Quote
Super User Matt Fly Posted November 30, 2007 Super User Posted November 30, 2007 The Cowboys played good enough to win to night. I'd still take my Cowgirls up in Packer land with Tony Romo. I don't think a multiple sport Athlete that grew up in Wisconsin, who played four years of college ball in Wisconsin, for which he threw for over 8000 yds and 85+TDS in college. Cold weather is second nature to Romol. 11-1. We was lucky to have this game tonight, Packers had alot of key players out tonight defensively. It will be another team in the playoffs when we see them again. Bret's crafty, and as long as he's in the game, they have a shot. Hey, how about that Rodgers? Looks like when Bret does retire, the packers will have young team and good QB to lead them. Rodgers is for real. Ya'll Hookem Quote
Jake P Posted November 30, 2007 Posted November 30, 2007 I got to watch the game...... pretty good. I am just glad the wind wasn't blowing or it was raining or I wouldn't have seen it on the dish LOL I thought i was the only one! If the wind blows hard enough my direct tv will go out and if it thunderstorms hard enough even the basic news channels like 4 5 8 or 11 go out too. I miss cable, it never failed me. Quote

Cable failed me lots of times, not to mention the cruddy fuzzy reception on local channels all the time. Also in the 20 or so years we had cable, it seemed that certain channels were out quite often, if not the whole service for at least 30 minutes or more a month (maybe just my personal experience with sorry companies). Since getting Direct TV 7 years ago, I haven't had near as many problems as with cable. We might lose signal for just a few minutes as a strong downpour approaches from the South, but the signal returns very quickly. Maybe it has something to do with our location, but I'll never go back to cable. Quote

Rodgers is for real. I'll say moves around and is looked amazing for the amount of experience he had. Could only imagine what he'll be like in a few seasons. Quote
