Working on my house.  Its killing me.  I havent fished this month if I remember correctly.  Days are running together and nothing else is getting accomplised.  I have a list of stuff to do as long as a kids christmas list.  Bad thing is I have a GLX BCR rod I need to go get and I havent even had time to do that. :-/

I've been so busy that I dont even know how the cards are doing.  They could have fallen out of 1st and I wouldnt even know.

Okay,I'm a Cards fan,right.But they are not pulling away.Houston is closing in!The Cards better get it togather.They may make the playoffs because the other teams in their division played so poorly.

Muddy's Mets are going to be the team to beat.We'll just have to see.

C'mon CJ we are pullin away. A couple weeks ago we were tied with the reds now we got a 4.5g lead. Slowly slowly slowly pullin away.

We are pulling away from the Reds but the Astros were catching up.It looks like the Cards are about to gain one on them though.The Cards are going to win their division but they don't look good for the playoffs.How many series have they won since August 1st?Not many and that's not good.We will just have to see.

Muddy,your right,I just look at the National league most of the time.I'll worry about the Tigers when the Cards get there.Which will probally not be this year.

Oh OH this is real championship performance out scored and whipped 2 days in a row by the Dodgers and Marlins It was a real show of October ready pitching they outscored us in 2 cames 25 to 6  :-/

I haven't been really paying much attention to the Cards lately...been busy with work comp stuff,rehab, and studying for my Member's Challenge. Haven't had time to get out yet this month either.

I agree with CJ here. We'll make the playoffs, but DO NOT look good for them. I think any series we win will be an absolute battle. Could get ugly folks.

I think the Twinkies will make it to the playoffs but i wouldnt worry to much about them stopping the yanks on the way to the WS. Right now, I wouldnt be too surprised if the Tigers dont even make the playoffs. The Twinkies arent deep enough. They could be dangerous in a 5 game series but they will not do to well in a 7 game series. They have probably the best 1,2 punch as far as starting pitchers go with santana and liriano. Unfortunately thats about it pitcing wise. Radke is ok but not great. Offensively they are OK with Morneau, Mauer, Hunter, and Cuddyer. Not big name players but they are all pretty good. Unfortunately for the Yankees they will probably be playing the Twins first round in a 5 game series. Santana, Liriano, Radke, Silva(maybe skip him), Santana, Liriano. That does not look fun for the Yanks.

Well the Cards won a good game tonight.Pujols just proved once again why he will be the MVP(25th game winning RBI).This game may be a the start of something!

50 years and a massive spending spree over the last few years. What ever happened to developing talent instead of just buying it?

Actually there were a lot of trades also and a lot of minor leaguers from the Mets are now starters through out. Minya did a great job, and he built a team that no only will be in the mix for the next several years but he got a club together that gets along well.

 AND THATS EVERY 25 years!!!!!!!!

Great cards game last night!! I had tivo'd it and was about 5 min. behind actual time. I knew Albert was going to win it in the 8th i could feel it. Then with 2 outs in the night my dad comes in and says did u see albert win the game!! Doh!!

Things lookin better for the yanks as liriano gets hurt as is to probably go back on the DL.
