Brett,      Sure isn't making the simple mistakes he has the last 5-7 years.    GB's defense, and Farve's new found patience is magical to watch.      With Brett and their defense, GB is an UGLY looking team that gets the job done.

As long as Brett don't force the ball, stays patient, and takes what they give him, Green Bay is team you can't take lightly.

Good game to watch thus far.

I almost see this his last season...Maybe he's going out with a bang.I sure hope so...i'm rooting for them. :D

Looking forward to them coming to Ford field, always a good game.  Detroit is un-stoppable at home this year. Not sure but the Lions must be drinking red bull this season?  ;) Packers have always been a close 2nd favorite team.

I grew up watching and rooting for the Redskins, I still watch them but I am more of Panthers guy now, gotta root for the home team. But I must say though that Brett Farve has been one of my favorite QB's for awhile. His toughness is somthing you do not see out of pro-athletes these days. This guy has played through alot.

That is a very good point Mike bat,  Green Bay the last two seasons have been on a mission, its the first half of the season that has hurt them.

I'm sure enjoying it.  I think if the Pack can go a round or two in the playoffs this will be Brett's last.    No doubt he's probably one of the most competitive and mentally tough players to have ever played the game.   How about that long bomb he threw today off his back foot?  Wow!!

The Pack will becoming to Dallas the end of the month.    Could be for home field advantage, and may be not.

Dallas kinda of slowed down last year, and the Pack the last 2 years seem to play the best ball when the playoffs are already out of the picture.

They have been one of the hottest teams late season.    This year, if they do that, they may be favorite to make it to the Dance.

As long as Farve retired after the Super Bowl, I could live with Dallas losing to them one more time.   Farve is a guy that is hard to dislike even though he plays for the opponent.

Iam pumped for this packer season. Iam just a little scared about the dallas game. I think the packers have only beat dallas at home once. I also hate to see what the packers will be like with out Brett when hes gone.

Yep.

Die hard as a die hard Chiefs fan here.  I must say that had to be one the most pleasurable losses I have ever watched.  Got to see a master add to his resume.

As a HUGE John Elway fan, I hated it when that "Never won a Super Bowl" guy down in Florida played an extra year just to beat John's records. I ought to feel the same way about Brett, but I have just admired his play for too many years. Brett Farve is everything a Role Model should be. I hope he continues having a great year and comes back for another!

Brett Farve is THE MAN.

p.s. KU, I was at the Monday Night game in Denver when Joe Montana was with the Chiefs. Big John put on an "Elway Comeback" and then with 1:29 left in the game, Joe pulled off a "Montana" (75 yard drive for the winning touchdown). Man, that was a exhibition in excellence! Brett Farve is definitely a class act and in the same league with those two guys.

That is one of those games I will always remember. I remember my whole family was up watching that game in the family room. When Elway made his comeback, they all went to bed. I stayed up. And then Montana did his thing. Talk about two artist painting a masterpiece .... and the right one won that time!!!!!!!! ;D

ps .. I was at the playoff game in '97 when Elway did his thing in the 4th Quarter to comeback and beat the Chiefs on the way to the Superbowl. Hated it at the time, but it's cool now to say I saw a "Master" do his thing on the way to the Superbowl, thus completing his career.
