There is quite an effort going on with electric fences in the water to keep these out of the Great Lakes. Seems they were imported for cleaning catfish ponds by midwest farmers and floods washed them into the rivers. These things grow upwards of 100lbs and will totally disrupt the eco systems of waterways they invade. There is a market for the fish as food and they are being fished by commercial fisherman here in the US. Quote

Indeed,there's a lot of information about these fish.From what i read and seen on video i don't want them where i'm fishing.We already have the common carps here which is enough for us. Quote
