Super User Matt Fly Posted November 2, 2007 Super User Posted November 2, 2007 Catt, are you laying low on this one? I haven't heard from you as of late. Wheres the Roll Tide fans at. They are missing as well. The game is less than 30 hours away and no chit chat. Whats up!!!! Some one please give me a run down on the SEC on whos going where and What if's!!!! Does the winner of this game win the WEST? Whos conrolling the EAST? We got some great games in the Big XII as well. Pac 10 is rocking the house as well. Man, with all the upsets this year, college football, even thou my Horns haven't been one of the Elites has been very entertaining thus far. I wonder how this season is going to play out. I would love to see Mizzou or Kansas, you know, the cellar dwellers most years get their shot at BCS. Good luck to all this weekend. Go Horns, they got a tough one in Oklahoma. Matt Quote
Super User Catt Posted November 2, 2007 Super User Posted November 2, 2007 With a week off I'm tired of talking & want to see some football; I think Flynn explodes on Bama with the biggest game of his career. LSU takes the SEC West & the SEC championship game then it's on the National Championship. By the end of the year there will be only one undefeated team left, Hawaii but they don't make the National Championship. I want to go fishing but got too much going on at home; so I'm ticked Quote
Super User fishfordollars Posted November 2, 2007 Super User Posted November 2, 2007 Catt, Catt, Catt, how can you say that. Saban has the red elephants ready and waiting for the kitty to come creeping across the state line. Dorsey won't play, the rest of the decent players are left home behind bars. If the tide is in fact ready I can see another close game decided late in the fourth quarter. Bama 27-16. ROLL TIDE!!!!!! Quote
Super User Catt Posted November 3, 2007 Super User Posted November 3, 2007 Typical Bama fan ;D Dorsey is ready to Rock-N-Roll, two second string players kicked off the team, & Ryan Perrilloux will not make the trip to Tuscaloosa; Flynn is 100% & Doucet is 100%. So y'all boys keep listening to the sports commentators hype Quote
Super User Sam Posted November 3, 2007 Super User Posted November 3, 2007 Roll Tide Roll, around the bowl and down the hole, Roll Tide Roll. LSU owns Tuscalooser. Satan will walk up and down the sidelines all confused and PO'ed. Tigers Rule. It will be a wonderful day in old Tuscalooser for the Fighting Tigers. (OK, so I get carried away with the LSU-Alabama rivalry. I grew up with the Bear and the great Bama teams and players but it is now LSU's turn at the gold ring. Son attended Bama so I get a whole lot of BS from him, too.) Quote
Super User Catt Posted November 3, 2007 Super User Posted November 3, 2007 John P. Wilson: As Alabama's starting quarterback in 26 career games, Wilson has completed 396 of 689 (.575) passes for 4,681 yards, with 30 touchdowns and 15 interceptions. A 12-9 starter, he is a capable quarterback that can make most of the throws if given time. His drawbacks are that he lacks speed and turns the ball over at crucial times. Pressure him and you make him work for it by taking him out of his comfort zonewhich is sitting in the pocket. Quote
Super User Root beer Posted November 3, 2007 Super User Posted November 3, 2007 Bama fans, Have you guys heard if caldwell and the other OL going to play saturday? I'm not going comment on what catt said, but man I really hope my tide wins. Oh the pic where tebow is getting sack, Bama OL is better then florida. Expecially if caldwell and that other guy comes back. Quote
Super User Catt Posted November 3, 2007 Super User Posted November 3, 2007 Fear The Hat!! The Hat has went for it a staggering 36 times on 4th and made it 78% of the time Quote
electrikal Posted November 3, 2007 Posted November 3, 2007 An hour before kickoff and the tensions building. Can Bama do it? Maybe! I've been a Tide fan all my life but LSU has got some of the best players on any team in the SEC (how can I knock Saban's picks? . Kentucky pulled it off so can Bama. Actually, it may come down to a coaching decision. If "The Hat" takes risks like going for a touchdown when a field goal is all he needs, in a close game, who knows?!! But if we lose :'( I hope LSU goes all the way! ROLL TIDE Quote
Super User Root beer Posted November 3, 2007 Super User Posted November 3, 2007 I have to say this, then I'll chime in after the game. (I cant believe I cant watch the game. I have go to work > >) LSU fans, Watch out for #22. You know what, I expect some other receivers for Bama to step up tonight. Bama fans, I wonder if saban will move andre smith from tackle to guard just to block glen dorsey. That'd be a fun match-up. Andre Smith vs Glen Dorsey. God, please let the titans of tuscaloosa win this one for me! ;D Quote
Super User Matt Fly Posted November 3, 2007 Author Super User Posted November 3, 2007 Tigers 17-3 Quote
electrikal Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 Tough game!! Dorsey was the deciding factor. He is awesome! Unfortunately if LSU doesn't rein in those penalties they won't win the National title. SEC championship - likely. I don't think Georgia can hang with em, penalties or not. Now if Bama can just win out the rest of this year especially that other Georgia team(Auburn!!) ;D. ROLL TIDE Quote
Super User Matt Fly Posted November 4, 2007 Author Super User Posted November 4, 2007 Here Kitty Kitty kitty....I know Catt's breathing easier now this one is in the books. Matt Quote
Super User Hookemdown. Posted November 4, 2007 Super User Posted November 4, 2007 I was really pulling for Bama in this one. OU needs all the help they can get. Quote
jeremyt Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 I too was pulling for the tide, but they didn't deserve this one. It seemed like once they got the lead their defense went slack. You do have to give LSU's defense props for their showing when it mattered most. Quote
Super User Root beer Posted November 4, 2007 Super User Posted November 4, 2007 Bring back joe kines!!!! I didnt watch the game (I was at work), but I read the recap and it says bama was winning then all sudden LSU mounted a comeback in final 3 minte of the game or something? If so then I'm mad!!!! we need some defense!!!!!!!!!!! He just pulled a mike shula, blew a game in 4th quarter. WHAT THE CRAP!!! Oh well, sounds like it was a good game, congradulation catt and your LSU tigers. Quote
Super User Sam Posted November 4, 2007 Super User Posted November 4, 2007 Unless the Fighting Tigers start to play smart they will not make the BCS Sugar Bowl. Too many stuipd penalities. Defense agains the pass in nonexistant. Glad Parker connected on only 14 passes tonight. Lucky, lucky, lucky. Well, at least Tulane lost and it looks like BC is in trouble with FSU but who knows. I can't take many more of these last minute wins by LSU. Lucky for us we have La Tech, Ole Miss and Arkansas left before taking on Tennessee or Georgia for the SEC Championship. Catt, if we can live through these games we can live through anything. Quote
Super User Catt Posted November 4, 2007 Super User Posted November 4, 2007 LSU made plenty of mistakes but that was the worst officiated game in the history of football. When the boys in the review box have to overturn 5 calls on the field that's my friends is bad calling. The true test of a team is not when you win 76-39 but when you can dig deep down and come from behind. Quote

I'd wish LSU luck, but we're fighting for the same spot right now. Quote

Do we all agree that the OU/Oregon game had some very bad calls, that weren't even questionable to most, is that a correct assumption? Based on what I have seen with gambling and officials, one could assume that the calls weren't even borderline calls. After the over whelming majority of officials in the NBA who admitted to violating the rules, one could almost assume this guy was on the take. Hard to say, but those calls were terriblely wrong. When sports books taken in Billions, makes me wonder now. Matt Quote

Super User fishfordollars Posted November 4, 2007 Super User Posted November 4, 2007 Wel I just returned from the game in Alabama. Although i did not care for the outcome it was a great ballgame. Just wish it had ended up the other direction. All I can say about the day was what a hell of a party. I might recover by midweek. Have to say the better team won. Roll Tide Quote
Super User Long Mike Posted November 5, 2007 Super User Posted November 5, 2007 LSU pulled everything out of its ample arsenal of stupidity in a valiant attempt to lose to Bama, but thankfully, they screwed that up too. Quote
