Super User Redlinerobert Posted October 20, 2007 Super User Posted October 20, 2007 I was just in the garage getting some gear ready for the trip when I find a dead potato bug by the tool chest. I HATE THOSE THINGS! They seriously give me the creeps. Evil looking little buggers. What bug or animal drives you nuts? Quote
preach4bass Posted October 20, 2007 Posted October 20, 2007 We get those little ants in our kitchen. They "bug" me so bad because our kitchen counter has black specks in the pattern, so you can't tell when the ants are there until they're all over your balogna sandwich > 8-) Quote
frogtog Posted October 20, 2007 Posted October 20, 2007 Switch to ham and you won't have that problem. ;D Quote
FishingBuds Posted October 20, 2007 Posted October 20, 2007 TICKS!!!! > Just thinking of them make me itch I have to add Roaches too> > Snakes around the house, I don't care for that even if they are trying to help me on the rodents. Quote

Super User Redlinerobert Posted October 20, 2007 Author Super User Posted October 20, 2007 I have to add spiders and mosquitos to the list too. Quote
mattm Posted October 20, 2007 Posted October 20, 2007 frogs and chickens. I'm like a little girl when it comes to frogs. Will not pick one up for nothing and always walk way around them so they won't hop on me. I must of had some traumatic childhood experience with them. Chickens are just creepy and wierd. Quote
preach4bass Posted October 20, 2007 Posted October 20, 2007 I think everyone will agree with the mosquitos Redline. The only way you can hunt in Eastern NC this time of year is with a thermocell. Anyone else use one? Quote
fishbear Posted October 20, 2007 Posted October 20, 2007 Snakes of any kind and Rats, both will send me running like a little girl.. Quote
Low_Budget_Hooker Posted October 20, 2007 Posted October 20, 2007 Crickets Robert,....You do realize there are a few bugs in the Amazon, right? They have moths that can carry away a dog. Prepare to lengthen that list of yours. : Quote
Super User cart7t Posted October 20, 2007 Super User Posted October 20, 2007 After getting bitten by a brown recluse, I'd say those for starters. Followed by all manner of wasps and hornets. Quote

Super User Micro Posted October 21, 2007 Super User Posted October 21, 2007 I was just in the garage getting some gear ready for the trip when I find a dead potato bug by the tool chest. I HATE THOSE THINGS! They seriously give me the creeps. Evil looking little buggers. What bug or animal drives you nuts? Camelback crickets. Makes me wanna vomit just looking at it. But I love snakes. Send your snakes to me if you don't want them. Here's the most ornery snake I've ever captured - Norther Black Racer. The only snake I've ever had attack me. Quote
Troutfisher Posted October 21, 2007 Posted October 21, 2007 I don't know, these little buggers look worse... :-/ Quote
Super User Tin Posted October 21, 2007 Super User Posted October 21, 2007 Snakes and Ticks. Also cant stand swans. In a local lake I had one approach the boat when I flipped a fish in. And a buggy of mine got a whooping from one, and got a ton of sttitches. lol Quote
Fishin-Psyantist Posted October 21, 2007 Posted October 21, 2007 Its got to be spiders for me and then snakes. Im ok with being in the same general area with them so long as they keep their distance. If a snake fell out of a tree and landed on me {like what happened to Bill Dance on one of his fishing blooper videos} My heart would need to be restarted. Quote
Super User Jimzee Posted October 21, 2007 Super User Posted October 21, 2007 Big as a dinner plate Wolf Spiders. Can't stand those things and every year one some how manages to get in the house when it turns cold outside. The wife and I usually have a debate on who's going to get rid of it. She always wins. :-? Super User Catt Posted October 21, 2007 Super User Posted October 21, 2007 Florida Love bugs; don't what they are good for other than running your paint job Quote
Guest muddy Posted October 21, 2007 Posted October 21, 2007 POLITICIANS,OH someone said snakes already my mistake!!!!!!! Quote
jdw174 Posted October 21, 2007 Posted October 21, 2007 Around the golf course where I work, we're blessed with Brown Recluse and Black Widow spiders (gotta watch where you put your hands). Also more ticks than the law allows (can't stand those &$(#)$*^ things). Don't have a fondness for coyotes, either. Also have the occasional rattlesnake, copperheads, and near the lake (course borders Kentucky Lake) there's always a chance of a cottonmouth. Never a dull moment. Quote
jeremyt Posted October 21, 2007 Posted October 21, 2007 Sand Fleas or no see ums call them what you will, but after spending 3 months at Parris Island, I hate those things. Quote
