I say it like I mean there is no better time to be a Boston Sports Fan than right now. The city is humming and alive with excitement of all that is going on. So for the people who are not here let me paint a picture of whats going on.

Lets start with the Boston College Eagles this week ranked #2 in the country. Boston College Eagles take on Virginia Tech tonight to try and keep their hopes alive, for an unbeaten season. They also have a legit QB who cant be denied as a Heisman Trophy candidate. As good as their season is so far, I doubt many Boston sports fans even know about their success.

The Boston Celtics are coming off of a dreadful 2006/2007 season. They mortgaged their future for the here and now. They went out and surrounded Paul Pierce with Ray Allen and Kevin Garnett. There is allot of excitement surrounding this team, high expectations that these new acquisitions could restore the Celtics back to their winning ways of the 1980s.

The New England Patriots starting the season 7-0. They arguably have the one of the best offenses in NFL history. Tom Brady now has a legit receiving core. He is protected by a veteran offensive line that is giving him time enough, to pose for more magazine ads before he has to throw the ball. The way in which they are winning is impressive to say the least. The upcoming game against the Colts will be a huge test and definitely a great game.

They, the Red Sox, are playing as everyone knows, or should know, or doesnt want to admit, the Red Sox are in the World Series. For just the second time in 4 years, from that historic run in 2004. The Red Sox down 3-1 against Cleveland pulled it off and made the Fall Classic. They are up against the Rockies who are a young talented team. As everyone knows Boston is a Baseball town. This town lives and breathes for that team. For starters Ive heard of bleacher seats going for $1350 a pair, for game 1. What a game 1 that was.

So I dont mean to gloat or boast. I just wish and hope that everyone could at some time have the experience that the Boston Sports Fan is having now...

I've always been envious of that Fenway atmosphere.  I wish we could have that here in Texas.  You go to a Ranger game, most of the fans are blah!  I'd like to attend a Red Sox game someday just to experience it.

Yeah...i'm sure you guys are on cloud 9.  If you don't already go to espn.com and read Bill Simmon's column on being a boston fan.  Basically saying the same thing as you, but I don't think he mentions BC.  He's very funn.  Jimmy Kimmels cousin and used to be a writer for his show.

You forgot to mention your little hocky team. I know the bruins never do that great. But you have the bc hockey team.

Your right tipptruck1 I didnt mention the Bruins they are tied for 4th place in the Eastern Conference in the NHL. They got off to a strong start and Thomas in net he has been making a strong case for being the primary net minder. As for College Hockey all of New England is lucky to be in the middle of Hockey East. That in of itself is like the mini NHL Northeastern, Boston College, Massachusetts, UMass Lowell, Vermont, Maine, Merrimack, Boston University, Providence seems like most of these teams make it into the NCAA tourney for hockey each year.

Of course growing up in Wisconsin Iam a badger fan. Both the mens and womans teams look real great this year. Iam just surprised that hockey dosen't get more air time here. It seems like all the high school have a hockey team. So I know theres hockey fans in Wisconsin. Its sad when high school swimming get more air time then high school hockey. But then theres the Badgers, Golden Eagles, and the Panthers mens basketball games. So it seem like they like basketball better. :'(

Can't you do anything about getting Manny a haircut, a uniform that fits, and a clean batting helmet?  How can anyone stand to look that skanky?  I know that's "just Manny being Manny."
