Low_Budget_Hooker Posted October 23, 2007 Posted October 23, 2007 At the Paralyzed Vets tourny this weekend, the M/C went and recruited this group of low riders that had gathered at the park. They became part of the procession that led the anglers to the weigh-in. CHECK THESE GUYS OUT Quote
Super User fishfordollars Posted October 23, 2007 Super User Posted October 23, 2007 Outstanding!. I liked that blue/white 56 belair. Quote
Super User Jimzee Posted October 23, 2007 Super User Posted October 23, 2007 Green Monte was kickin' the serious three wheel motion. ;D Quote
Low_Budget_Hooker Posted October 23, 2007 Author Posted October 23, 2007 And yes, that's a 302 in that yellow bike. Quote

Super User Tin Posted October 24, 2007 Super User Posted October 24, 2007 Green Monte was kickin' the serious three wheel motion. ;D Green Monte had a 500 lb counter weight in the back seat if you look close. Quote
Low_Budget_Hooker Posted October 24, 2007 Author Posted October 24, 2007 Is it just me or can anyone else picture mike in one of those low riders,...helmet shinning, ....... Quote
Super User Hookemdown. Posted October 24, 2007 Super User Posted October 24, 2007 helmet shinning, ....... Wouldn't that be the top of his head that's shining? ;D Quote
Super User Redlinerobert Posted October 24, 2007 Super User Posted October 24, 2007 of those cars have some major suspension issues. ;D The green car with the counterweight.... ;D ;D Quote
Super User Long Mike Posted October 24, 2007 Super User Posted October 24, 2007 Helmet shining?! NEVER! I prefer an iron oxide patina on my helmet. In addition, the four inch spike on the top would likely damage the roof liner in one of those beauties. Please don't get me wrong. Those low-rider guys spent many thousands of dollars to create their masterpieces. And kudos to them for participating in the parade. Low-Riders are just not my thing. Quote
Super User Alpster Posted October 24, 2007 Super User Posted October 24, 2007 And yes, that's a 302 in that yellow bike. They are made by "Boss Hoss" they make them with big blocks 500+ HP. Insane! http://www.bosshoss.net/view_bike.asp?x=BHC3502 Cool video Russ! Ronnie Quote
Low_Budget_Hooker Posted October 24, 2007 Author Posted October 24, 2007 Mike, those cars are all about the mods, a simple spike hole in the roof with a wind/rain deflector would just be one more thing that the next guy doesn't have. I'm not into them either. I looked at one that they wanted me to do the audio in. With everything they had going on electrically and hydraulically, I said "thanks but no thanks". One of those jobs you KNOW you'll be back to "fix" 10 times over. Quote
Super User Long Mike Posted October 24, 2007 Super User Posted October 24, 2007 Hookemdown, I may be old enough to be your grandfather, but I've still got a full head of hair and very little of it is gray. Nature has been kind to me in many ways. ;D Quote
Super User grimlin Posted October 25, 2007 Super User Posted October 25, 2007 Lowriding was a past time hobbie of mine...I had a 79' monte carlos with the wire wheels 4 12'' rockford speakers.Serious power drainage on the battery. Growing up with latinos and with the neighborhood being almost majority of hispanics....i grew up around this sort of thing. Quote
dave Posted October 25, 2007 Posted October 25, 2007 Convert any car into a low rider and it will look cool. Nothing beats those early 60's Impala's. It's like they were made to low ride. Quote
