Super User Redlinerobert Posted October 23, 2007 Super User Posted October 23, 2007 So yesterday at the office I was feeling a little sick, decided to go to the doctor since I leave Friday for Brazil. He tells me I have a mild case of BRONCHITIS?? I nearly crapped my pants. I leave Friday for my trip and the LAST thing I needed was to get sick right now. He gave me some horse pills that "should" take care of it in the next few days. Couple weeks ago I had a flu shot so I hope and pray it doesnt get any worse. Needless to say I didnt get any work done today, and have a case of cabin fever from being inside all day. Quote
Low_Budget_Hooker Posted October 23, 2007 Posted October 23, 2007 Transferable ticket by any chance?? :-? Heal up buddy, you've been waiting too long for this one. Did you at least get all pre-packed? Ready to go? Quote

frogtog Posted October 24, 2007 Posted October 24, 2007 It's probably the Flu shot you got. I have had this happen to me two years in a row, so elected not to have one this year. Quote
Super User Sam Posted October 24, 2007 Super User Posted October 24, 2007 Redlline, Just rest and drink plenty of liquids. You should be feeling better by today or tomorrow. Just lay down, close your eyes, and think "Peacock" "Peacock" "Peacock" You will be ready to go on Friday. Take some good pics for us. And remember what the old LSU basketball coach Dale Brown said when he fished the Amazon River, "Don't fall into the water." Have a great time. Quote

Two years in a row. My work give free flu shots. two years ago, a week after the flu shot I got mono. the following year I got a BAD cold. I think your body gets busy building imunities to the flu virus and makes you Susceptible to others. Any way, I hope you feel better and have an awsome trip. Quote

There is nothing worse than going on vacation and not feeling well, or having to cancel a trip. (I've experienced both) Go down there and give those peacocks hell. Stay safe. Falcon Quote
