atropine Posted May 9, 2008 Posted May 9, 2008 I've been having awesome luck with Zoom flukes in the albino white color. Quote
jakellahan Posted May 9, 2008 Author Posted May 9, 2008 yeah my favorite right now is the zoom bubble gum worms Quote
MDbassinmike Posted May 9, 2008 Posted May 9, 2008 It's hard to beat the Zoom green pumpkin finesse worm on a sliderhead. I have caught some big fish even on this small bait. If you haven't tried it, do it next time you go out. Quote
T-Bone Posted May 9, 2008 Posted May 9, 2008 Culprits are the ones for me. I love their worms and lizards. I just wish they made a bigger selection of soft plastics. Quote
guitarkid Posted May 9, 2008 Posted May 9, 2008 The good old trick/finesse worm strikes again. Weedless and weightless. Green pumpkin with green flakes or motor oil. -searoach Quote
jakellahan Posted May 9, 2008 Author Posted May 9, 2008 yeah me too. what about hard nose anyone tried those personally i have not everytime i go to get worms i debate over it but never do Quote
Super User Gatorbassman Posted May 9, 2008 Super User Posted May 9, 2008 I won't say that that Zoom is the best but they do have the largest selection of shapes, colors and sizes. They are my preferred choice because they are easy to find in my favorite types and colors. Quote
jakellahan Posted May 9, 2008 Author Posted May 9, 2008 yea so do yall fish mostly in ponds or lakes Quote
Super User Gatorbassman Posted May 9, 2008 Super User Posted May 9, 2008 Both. A bass is a bass no matter what size the body of water is and now matter what part of the country or world you are fishing. Quote
Super User Catt Posted May 9, 2008 Super User Posted May 9, 2008 Quote I need to find how to catch the big ones Try finding where they live not which lure to use Quote
Super User 5bass Posted May 9, 2008 Super User Posted May 9, 2008 At some point you should try some Berkley Power Bait plastics. I think you will like them....I know bass like 'em. Quote
Super User fishinfiend Posted May 9, 2008 Super User Posted May 9, 2008 I really like Zoom's ol'monster, Mag II, and 6" lizard. Quote

tyrius. Posted May 9, 2008 Posted May 9, 2008 Quote At some point you should try some Berkley Power Bait plastics. I think you will like them....I know bass like 'em. X2!! For worms I use only Berkley or ***. Now as for the OP's original question, Catt is dead on. The most important thing to catching big fish is fishing where they live. You can throw 10" worms all day and catch tons of small fish. To catch the big ones you need to first focus on location. This will be one of my big goals for the year. Finding the appropriate structure/cover in the waters that I fish that will hold the larger fish. Quote

That might be some pretty good advice. : Regarding worms: Several by GYCB, Roboworms and recently, 7 1/2" Larew Salty Ring Worm. 8-) Quote
BrockSamson Posted May 9, 2008 Posted May 9, 2008 Culprit, Yum, Berkley.....you can't go wrong with any of those 3. Quote
