preach4bass Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 Congratulations! Is admission into the pressbox for a major game a perk? : Quote
Super User Redlinerobert Posted September 28, 2007 Super User Posted September 28, 2007 Congratulations man! Good job. Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted September 28, 2007 Super User Posted September 28, 2007 Congratulations! 8-) Quote
Fisher of Men Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 Great to hear! Hope the overtime doesn't cut into the fishing time! I once had a job that paid plenty well, but after 70-80 hours a week, I never had time (nor felt like) to do anything. Quote
Super User flechero Posted September 28, 2007 Super User Posted September 28, 2007 Congrats! But also heed Fishers advice, a little OT for the monkey and then a little more fishing time! Quote
Red Posted September 28, 2007 Author Posted September 28, 2007 thanks guys, it isnt a whole lot of OT...about 5-13 hrs per week, 5 for sure and then a saturday here and there...so not real bad....but after sitting and doing nothing at my current job i am very excited about actually WORKING again....i like to work, not the type to sit behind a desk or anything like that Cliff Quote
Guest avid Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 Well done son!. There is a tradition here on BassResource.com that I just started. It holds that it is good luck for anyone who "lands" a great job to buy a Lucky Craft cranbait for any person who says "well done!" and has over 7000 posts p.s. - I wonder how the bds2 in ghost minnow would work? Quote
Red Posted September 28, 2007 Author Posted September 28, 2007 thanks, i think it would work great, since the BDS2 in american shad has been great this year...but i am currently saving my pennies for a different piece of tackle so i wont be getting anymore cranks soon Quote
Red Posted October 11, 2007 Author Posted October 11, 2007 first three days have been great, learned a bunch, and i am actually WORKING!!! i get done at the end of the day and look back and can actually see that i did something productive....i love it....few tools and stuff i gotta get but it is just awesome....my new 10 hour day goes buy fater than ever....50 hours every week for sure and then sometimes an additional 8-10 on saturdays....the only downfall is i havent wet a hook since sunday!!
