BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted October 9, 2007 BassResource.com Administrator Posted October 9, 2007 The Bills deserved to win that one. They were robbed! Quote
Clayton Posted October 9, 2007 Posted October 9, 2007 WOW!!!!! I came online so excited to start a new thread on the Cowboys but looks like you beat me to it! Must be a fan! My reaction to the game: Romo cannot play any worse, so this is a good thing for him to get it out of his system before we see the Patriots. I love our defense even more now, and our special teams just earned there paychecks! Especially the kicker, the nazi looking guy. He showed me true control to be able to make that kick twice. I could go on and on but I will stop now because my excitement cannot be expressed well enough through these stupid plastic keys! I wish they were big enough to throw a football at because I am pumped!!!!!! YYEEEAAAHHH! Quote
HUNTER19 Posted October 9, 2007 Posted October 9, 2007 WOW....... TO dropped passes romo 5 ints and a fumble!!!! Congrats for the cowboys D!!! I would say the Bills deserved that one but their offence didn't put any pionts up!!! :-X Quote

Super User flechero Posted October 9, 2007 Super User Posted October 9, 2007 What a nail biter!! I gotta disagree on Buf deserving to win... their offense only came up w/ 3 pts. Dal gave them EVERY opportunity to take the game. How about the poise of the kicker? A career long, pressure cooker, game winner, at the buzzer- twice!! I had trouble going to sleep afterwards. ...lol Don't know what happened to Romo, I'm inclined to say that Buf just played good D. With 2 tips and a bad route- it maybe should have been 2 pics but that's the way it goes sometimes. He sure looked good at the end.... made a strong drive to get the TD and give us a chance. As seldom as the on-sides kick works, I'm starting to think maybe there is "supposed to" wins and losses in the NFL. ...lol Oh well, it was nice to have my team win the heartbreaker for a change. It will be real interesting to see how they react... is this the ultimate confidence builder or a kick to the groin.... I hope the former! Quote
llPa1nll Posted October 9, 2007 Posted October 9, 2007 If this is how you guys go 5-0. Im quite confident that a 6 turnover game will bring you guys your first loss versus the Patriots. It will be a good game. Quote
Davis Posted October 9, 2007 Posted October 9, 2007 Being a resident 20 minutes from the stadium and a huge bills fan.......I wish Jauron would be fired. Last night was a joke and the coaching cost them this game. Hard one to take..... Sick of seeing my team losing games like that. My wife is sick of hearing me screaming at the TV as well. Even the dogs hide when my Bills play. I get "out of hand" to put it nicely. Quote

Im quite confident that a 6 turnover game will bring you guys your first loss versus the Patriots. It will be a good game. I don't think the Pats need any turnovers to win that game. I'm not your typical fan, just coaches son who knows that if a rookie QB can light us up, Brady is gonna torch us. I haven't forgotten that our best corners have been hurt, we have no pass rush, least not consistently, and the Boys running game does nothing to support Romo early in the game. In short, Romo is having to put the game on his shouldrs early because of the lack of yards from the running game. Also, he's pretty good in the pass game most weeks. Winning has a way of making you forget how bad your pass defense has been. I haven't forgotten Eli and Plexico torched us opening day with 35 points. I don't think Bela cheat will leave out a few wrinkles that get Roy Williams singled up on one of there many fine receivers. By the way, even though he has 3 rings, the Boys will still show up and play the Patriots. The Pats have won 5 games also, and their opponents records are 7-16, so the Pats have beaten who this year? Record says 5-0, but they haven't beaten anybody either!!!!!! Matt Quote

SD was supposed to be a AFC powerhouse, they turned out to be very overrated. The Jets made the playoffs last year, but are in some serious trouble. The Patriots are 5-0 as well as the Cowboys, The Cowboys opponents record is 6-19, the Patriots opponents record is 7-17. Hopefully the few injuries we have they will be able to bounce back into action. The main notables are Seymour, Maroney, and 2 members on the O-line and some DBs. It will be a good game and either teams first big test for sure. Quote
JCrzy4Bass Posted October 9, 2007 Posted October 9, 2007 I like how the one game that everyone was going to tune out this year on Monday night turned into the best Monday night game of the year thus far. How bout' that Bills Defense? Forget the Coboys D. Five picks... but Romo came through when it counted and the only thing that matters is if you can get your team the W and put the ball in the endzone. What an ending... the fact that the Boys missed the 2 point, then got the onside kick, Terrell's catch was overturned, then Romo completed 2 more in 13 seconds... the Bills iced the first kick, but then Folk made it AGAIN!!! Best ending to any game I've seen in a lonnnnnngggg time. Craziest thing for you fantasy players... the Bills racked up 30 friggin' points this week for their D/ST.... did anybody draft them???? I doubt it... lol. For having a bunch of second and third string no bodys on that team, that D is looking amazing the last few weeks. Quote
Super User Matt Fly Posted October 9, 2007 Super User Posted October 9, 2007 Forget the missed calls that went both ways. Late hit and horse collar on the boys, interference on 2pt conversion, the take downs on the kidk off return, or the running into the punter, that ESPN never replayed a second time. Lots of missed calls both ways, some home cooking as some call it. Now who deserved what. Seems to me Dallas over came 5 INT's, and a Fumble in the last few minutes. Who deserves to win when you allow a team to march down the field and score an easy 6, miss the 2 pt try, then fail to recover on-side kick, only to have 21 yard pass play overturned and then allow the visiting team to complete two more plays all within 13 seconds, then Ice the kicker once at 53 yards, then to make the one that did count for 53 yards. 9 points in less than a minute. I think Buffalo got robbed also. Just not on the scoreboard. And if you can't beat a team after 5 int's and a fumble with two returned for TD's and a Kick returned for TD also, and you lose, YOU DIDN"T DESERVE TO WIN anyway!!!! Matt Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted October 9, 2007 Super User Posted October 9, 2007 It seems to me that both teams played terribly, but you might think almost any other team in the league could have beatten The Boys last night. : Quote
tyrius. Posted October 9, 2007 Posted October 9, 2007 The Bills deserved to win that one. They were robbed! They definately were robbed! By their offense! They should be strung up after only getting the team 3 points in the whole game. Quote
jeremyt Posted October 9, 2007 Posted October 9, 2007 The game might not have been the best game, but by gosh it certainly was a nail biter. My wife who has never watched football before, was grabbing my hand on that second fieldgoal attempt. I also thought that it was very funny that all of the announcers that were on the Romo bandwagon, happened to jump off of it very quickly last night. I am not a Dallas fan, but it seems to me that them boys will do whatever it takes to win. Quote

Super User roadwarrior Posted October 10, 2007 Super User Posted October 10, 2007 No doubt! The Broncos should be fined by the NFL for not showing up for a HOME game! Quote
