Deb Posted October 1, 2007 Posted October 1, 2007 Subject: UK Rocks! Four football fans go rock climbing one afternoon. A Kentucky fan, the Louisville fan, a Tennessee fan, and a Georgia fan. They had been arguing all the way up the mountain about who among them was the most die hard fan. Upon reaching the top of the mountain, the Tennessee fan proclaimed to the other three "This is for the Volunteers!" and promptly threw himself off the mountain as a form of sacrifice, screaming "Rocky top" as he fell to his death. Not to be outdone by the Tennessee fan, the Georgia fan jumped up and shouted "This is for the DAWGS" and threw himself off the mountain barking Woof..woof, woof, woof! As he crashed on the rocks below. Refusing to be out done by the Tennessee and Georgia fans, the Kentucky fan rose to his feet and yelled at the top of his lungs "This is for THE KENTUCKY WILDCATS !" and without hesitation, pushed the Louisville fan off the mountain shouting---Fly Cardinal Fly! GO BIG BLUE!!!! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Quote
Olebiker Posted October 1, 2007 Posted October 1, 2007 Live it up while you can, Puddin'. :'( I think you will find the Gamecocks a little tougher than Florida Atlantic. Then there's LSU and Florida. Even though my poor Louisville Cardinals are stinking up the joint this year, I have been enjoying my son-in-law's enthusiasm for his alma mater, the University of South Florida. This is the first time they have ever been ranked. Quote
Fisher of Men Posted October 2, 2007 Posted October 2, 2007 Olebiker, These opponents will be challenges for UK, but I think they have a real chance of pulling some more upsets this season. Florida revealed that they're not as good as last year, but LSU, I'm still not sure about. It seemed that Tulane could play with them for awhile the other day. That's what I like about college FB; you just never know! As for Kentucky, I've been impressed by what I've seen. Hey, they're in the SEC. What have my aggies got to worry about. I'll stay on their wagon all the way. Go UK!! Quote
Super User burleytog Posted October 2, 2007 Super User Posted October 2, 2007 UK will be wishing for some KY after LSU gets finished with them... Quote

Olebiker Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 I'm down in Tampa with my sports fanatic brother-in-law. He looked at me very seriously a little while ago and confided that he thinks Kentucky can beat Florida at Lexington. Quote
Super User Matt Fly Posted October 5, 2007 Super User Posted October 5, 2007 How did UK do last night? Matt Quote

Super User Matt Fly Posted October 5, 2007 Super User Posted October 5, 2007 I think you may be correct Catt. Mama is not gonna be in a good mood this morning. What I saw for the first 2 and half quarters was Kentucky shooting themselves in the foot. Then I went to bed. Matt Quote
Fisher of Men Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 I watched from the middle of the 2nd quarter to within 3 minutes left in the game. Very dissapointing. I just wonder if all the media pressure to the team and Woodson got to them. I still think they are a good team capable of making some noise in the SEC. This game proves exactly how competitive the SEC is. No matter who you play, you'll have to bring it to win. Deb, where are you? We'll go easy on you. Quote
Olebiker Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 Mom aint gonna be to happy That's why I am steering clear of her until about Monday. You know what they say, "If Momma ain't happy, noone's happy." Quote
