Super User Bassn Blvd Posted October 1, 2007 Super User Posted October 1, 2007 Goodfellas by far is the all time best mobster movie. Boondock Saints are bad azzzz too. Quote
Super User Hookemdown. Posted October 1, 2007 Super User Posted October 1, 2007 GOODFELLAS The one and only Quote
Super User Root beer Posted October 1, 2007 Author Super User Posted October 1, 2007 I've heard about that movie so many times and never got around to go rent it. Maybe I'll rent it this week. I got work friday and saturday night..hmm. I'll try to rent it soon. Quote
jdw174 Posted October 1, 2007 Posted October 1, 2007 Goodfellas, Casino, and check out "Heat"....all starring DiNiro. Great in all of them. For the "non-DiNiro" flicks, "The Departed", and "10th & Wolf" aren't bad either. Quote
Super User MALTESE FALCON Posted October 1, 2007 Super User Posted October 1, 2007 For me it's: 1- The Godfather trilogy 2- Casino 3- Goodfellas 4- Untouchables Falcon Quote
ejtaylor822 Posted October 1, 2007 Posted October 1, 2007 Probably my favorite genre 1a. Godfather 1 1b. Goodfellas (too close to call between those two for me) 2. Godfather 2 3. Untouchables 4. Scarface 5. Casino Honorable mention: Soprano's (know its not a movie, but one of the best mobster "stories" ever IMHO), Donnie Brasco, Reservoir dogs, Godfather 3, Once upon a time in America, Carlitto's way, and have to add My Blue Heaven - sorry, but that one's a riot! Panamoka_Bassin Posted October 1, 2007 Posted October 1, 2007 My Blue Heaven - sorry, but that one's a riot! About the funniest movie ever, in so many ways. Steve Martin is perfect in that one. Some to add to the list: Hoodlum Mobsters Angels With Dirty Wings Public Enemy Quote
Super User Hookemdown. Posted October 1, 2007 Super User Posted October 1, 2007 I forgot about "the departed"....great film. Too many headshots though. Quote
Super User FishTank Posted October 3, 2007 Super User Posted October 3, 2007 My favorites are Goodfellas, Resevoir Dogs, Mean Streets, Millers Crossing. And my all time favorite The Usual Suspects. I can still here the guy in the hospital say "Keyser Söze". Quote
