Super User Matt Fly Posted September 18, 2007 Super User Posted September 18, 2007 I'll ask this question later in the season if the Tide continues to roll. What recruits, if any of Nick's could possibley make them 3-0 at this time? Can we say that certain coaches get more out of what other coaches had? Nick does have a National title from the SEC already. If this is an indication of what kind of program Nick is going to build, the SEC just got stronger, then again, when one rises, someone usually falls. I was very impressed with Bama's passing game. Both teams defense gave up points. Wasn't impressed there. And I thought that would be the first sign of a turn around. Defense!@!!!!!!! Hookem Matt Quote
Super User Catt Posted September 18, 2007 Author Super User Posted September 18, 2007 Arkansas, Auburn, Tennessee are down Alabama, Kentucky, & South Carolina are up Florida, Georgia, & LSU are their normal selves Keep an eye on them Gamecocks they are going to mess up some peoples plans Quote
Super User Sam Posted September 20, 2007 Super User Posted September 20, 2007 I hope it is Florida's plans. Geaux Tigers. Quote
BassHunter69 Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 alabama has their work cut out for them with georiga for sure. i'm not too worried about that game the bama game that really worrys me is when bama plays l.s.u since they have the defense from hell. i'm really hoping bama beats georgia i think people are really going to sit up and take notice of alabama when and if they do. saban does have a sec title but someone also forgot to mention that michigan hasn't enjoyed the prominace they have since saban left. he is doing what he does best which is coach college ball. sure the bama players may be smaller then your average team but somehow saban has these boys fired up. think of the times you've seen smaller teams who you thought weren't great win time and time again. could this be the case with alabama? that reminds me i need to watch that l.s.u game tonight the only reason i watch other teams is to see what alabama has in store for them. i seriously think alabama could lose to l.s.u and f.s.u those are 2 teams bama MUST beat in my book. Super User Matt Fly Posted September 20, 2007 Super User Posted September 20, 2007 I was very impressed with Floridas win last week. I would have taken Florida, I just didn't think they would handle the riskkids Vols so easily. Have no fear, Texas plays OU 10/6 and I can take my medicine like a man. Got a feeling OU thinks their coming to a track meet, trouble is, Texas doesn't have the speed to match them while on defense. Don't worry, I got bandaids for the bleeding. Matt Quote
RWHusker. Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 Have no fear, Texas plays OU 10/6 and I can take my medicine like a man Matt, believe me the medicene tastes very bad!!! USC 49 Nebaraska 31 And I think it could have been worse. GO BIG RED Quote
Super User Matt Fly Posted September 20, 2007 Super User Posted September 20, 2007 Sure glad I didn't let Texas Pride sucker me in on any bet on Texas thus far. IN short, I really didn't know what kind of team to expect Texas to have this season. To be exact, even though we had 2 all american defensive backs last year, we got torched by everyone, so not knowing what kind of secondary or for that matter, the rest of the defense also, I stayed on the DL. The black shirts haven't been as dominate as they used to be when Osborne coached them. You guys have some offense, but can't stop speed or offenses that spread field. Matt Quote
Super User Catt Posted September 23, 2007 Author Super User Posted September 23, 2007 Well LSU won but I sure was ticked, their new offensive coordinator almost blew it by trying to sit on a lead against Steve Spurrier. They should have benched Flynn in the second half because he couldn't throw deep and with Perrilloux on the side line why not. Quote
Super User Root beer Posted September 23, 2007 Super User Posted September 23, 2007 Alabama needs to bring joe kines back!!! I dont like how defense are playing they are getting push around. For god sake somebody on that defense, better step up and knock someone out. Quote

Super User Matt Fly Posted September 26, 2007 Super User Posted September 26, 2007 Any opinions on Oklahoma States Coach and his rant. I haven't read the article, don't know what is fact or fiction about the story itself. I do love to see coaches going to bat for their players, but was it overboard? They even won a thriller that night. Matt Quote
