Catt, LSU is in trouble already.    ESPN, the KIA's ( the know it alls) think LSU and USC will play for the BCS title, thats a jinx to start with.    Both of those teams undefeated.     Thats funny.

I had UT and USC in re-match!!!!  I know, thats even funnier!!!!!!

While I am not a football fan, My thing is Base Ball and College Basketball, whata ya want i grew up in NY!  Anyway I root for LSU in the Sec anyway so i hope they win mr Catt!!!

Well go figure you had to root for either the Jets the Giants or more troubling the Bills. I dont follow college football much I will watch and cheer for Notre Dame(they have my man Charlie Weiss now), BC, UT. I cant wait for the reg season in the NFL. GO Patriots!!

Well go figure you had to root for either the Jets the Giants or more troubling the Bills. I dont follow college football much I will watch and cheer for Notre Dame(they have my man Charlie Weiss now), BC, UT. I cant wait for the reg season in the NFL. GO Patriots!!

You have that right!!!!!!! Football was bleak growin up in the late 50's/early60's in Brooklyn, most of my Uncles were Oakland Fans, they liked rooting for felons!!!!!!

Yeah well your losing ways Mets still beat my Red Sox in 1986. I still havent gotten over that game 6 yet. I go to therapy often for that one. That and game 7 of the 2003 ALCS.

That hurts man, that hurts. I will say that 2004 made it all worthwhile. Especially seeing them win 4 in a row to come back from 3 down against the NYYs. How is it we get to talking about the Sox and Yankees in a football post....lol

50's and 60's? heck that would have been all about the NY Giants - Ya Tittle, Frank Gifford, Pat Summerall.  That is a little far back for me but they had to have been one of the winningest teams in that era.

And as far as rooting for a loser I'm a Cubs fan say no more.

The late 50's and the early 60's had names but no championships. I was 8 years old in 59 not much happend for the Giants, in any big way until Tark and then Simms and Taylor came around

Michigan Wolverines gets national respect if they can find away to knock off the Ohio State Buckeyes, offense they have 18 returning starters and on defense they have 18 returning starters.

Texas' first big test will come against TCU, and Gary Patterson has had those guys ready to play a big team every year.    Don't forget, they handed OU an opening day loss in Olkie land a few years ago, or was that last year?

I respect TCU's program.   They have been predicted to be the Boise State BCS buster this year.   That only happens if UT goes down.    

I like Michigan for the Big Ten, got alot of talent back on offense, the key spots, QB, WR and RB are all seasoned, and they could have all came out, but decided to stay one more year.

USC of the Pac 10, the program speaks for itself.

I'll take LSU in the SEC because they have the players on both sides, and the QB has started in the past a few times, and he's looked good.

The Big XII,    OU has freshman QB, and if they can't control the game by running, then the QB will make mistakes, all freshmen do.       A&M flat out has a winner a QB, he just knows how to win and he protects the ball better than any QB I have seen in awhile, 2 interceptions last season.   A&M could be spoiler, and could win it this year.    Fact, other than UT and OU.   A&M is only team to win South title, 97 and 98.

With that being said, I'll still take my Horns, Freshmen of the year, Colt McCoy, to win three in a row against OU.
