Everytime I see a dalmation I get depressed...... :'( im sorry to hear about the dawggs yall lost i lost my precious an old red nosed pitbull she was as loveable as could be. so i know how you guys feel. that reminds me this got me in hot water once but my ex wife once told me i treated the dawg better my reply was off the top of my head where i said "HELLO "MANS BEST FRIEND" ;D ;D ;D ;D man can that woman ever swing a frying pan ;D ;D ;D ;D Quote

Bob Kavanaugh Posted September 17, 2007 Author Posted September 17, 2007 Why can't they stay puppies? Quote
jeremyt Posted September 18, 2007 Posted September 18, 2007 Man thats a sweet looking pit, I had one but she attacked my wifes chihuahua, so I had to give her up, I still want one. Belle was a blue and sweet to all people and kids, but she was animal aggresive. Quote
slomoe Posted September 18, 2007 Posted September 18, 2007 Alot of pitbulls do become dog agressive as they mature. Its in there blood after decades of doing what they were trained to do. Doesn't mean its a horrible thing. Just have to be responsible in knowing that. Some pits do fine with other animals, for instance Lola loves cats. But I would never leave her alone with one. I belong to a pitbull forum, where I have met people who have left their dogs alone together, returned home to find one of them dead. Sad story but it opens alot of peoples eyes. If my pup is unsupervised, she is in the crate. She is a great dog, never bitten anyone, or anything, but I understand what she is, and the history of her breed. Im sorry to hear you had to get rid of yours, but if I lived with a chihuahua I'd probably attack it too. YAP YAP YAP YAP YAP. Just kidding. Quote
rondef Posted September 18, 2007 Posted September 18, 2007 Here is my best friend and fishing buddy. He was named after Tedy Bruschi of the New England Patriots Out of respect for Tedy we chose to spell it Brewski. This is from our trip to Lake Orange in Orange County, Virginia. Quote
BassHunter69 Posted September 18, 2007 Posted September 18, 2007 now thats a good looking lil buddy right there bet he loves going on that boat to Quote
rondef Posted September 19, 2007 Posted September 19, 2007 He does like going out with me the only problem is he wants to sit in my lap while I fish when I rent boats. He is much better when I take him out in my fishing boat because he has a place to lie down and rest. Quote
BassHunter69 Posted September 19, 2007 Posted September 19, 2007 ;D rondef ya spoiled him rotten ;D ;D Quote
rondef Posted September 19, 2007 Posted September 19, 2007 Yes we did, he filled the void as my wife and I are now empty nesters. Our kids have graduated college and moved out of the house. The dog is our newest kid. But like I said he is really good in my boat when I ake him out and he lets me fish. My boat is nothing special but I think he feels more comfortable in it because of the spots he can lay down in. Quote
