jake94 Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 does anybody here have a recommendation for a good, cheap rangefinder for bowhunting? or any good websites where i could find this info? Quote
frogtog Posted August 31, 2007 Posted August 31, 2007 Practice, practice, practice and you won't need a range finder. When I first started i would measure me steps ( 15 steps = 30' etc ) I would mark a couple of trees around my stand and then I would make some out a little further. After a while you will learn how to judge you distance and won't need to mark anymore. Be sure when you are practising that you are in your stand or the marked spots won't be the same. This is just how I do it, some people might like range finders. Quote
Siebert Outdoors Posted September 5, 2007 Posted September 5, 2007 bushnell makes a one. I think its called the yard pro 400 or something like that its about 150 bucks. I've had a range finder for the last 5-6 years. One of the best things I have bought. Quote
bassboy1 Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 Range finder. Old arrows, with different color fletchings stuck into certain places on the ground. Sooner or later, you will get it down purty close. Quote
