I guess I've read the wrong threads.  Avid, you had the OTHER shoulder done?  What are you, a masochist?  Now I understand why I haven't received the photos of you canoe.

Get well soon and all best wishes.

Avid - Glad to hear you're on the mend and that they didn't accidentally remove an appendix or pancreas or something.  :D  Rest well and you'll be back in action sooner than you realize.

Good luck Avid. We can commiserate after the surgery as I am going back in Tuesday for a bit more heart related surgery.

Wa, WHAT!?!  George!?  You ok?  What's up?

Avid - Glad your  home and all's well.

They want to stick more hardware in my chest. Surgery is minor.

Their schedule - 2 days in hospital - 2 weeks very limited movement of left arm - 4-6 weeks recovery.

My schedule - 1-2 days in hospital - 2 days at home and fishing on the third - taking clients fishing after 1st week.

We will see who wins - it's me against them.  ;D ;) ;D

Well, after getting to know your personality these last few years, I don't think the doctors have a chance......Good luck GW

Yo George: I admire your spirit, and I am the same way. Listen to what your body tells you. Some day i hope to be able to afford a trip to Fla. and you would be the Guide to go to. So you can't do anything to goof that up ;D
