Hey : As soon as everyone confirms they have recieved their shirtsa , I am tsking a break from here for a bit. There is a little too much BS around here lately, and I am kind of a reality driven guy. One fella in particular. Started in the spring , he was making posts hinting that I was in some way feminine and where I come from that's a direct challange. All right everyone is not from the streets of Brooklyn and I put it aside and didn't challange it,

We stopped communicating, now he hgas taken to just going the oppisite way of everything I post, LIKE I AM SOME KIND OF FREAKING IDIOT. I do not profess to be an expert, but real life experience is waht I relate to , and when I am wrong I have apologized, I ALWAYS APOLOGIZE when I have wronged someone

 I don't come here to get my Balzz broken, and it's happening again. I will no doubt be labled as thin skinned, and i think I make more fun of myself then you guys do.

 So I am not leaving for good, but God don't like ugluy and It is going in that direction in my head. SO ITS MY SHORTCOMING and I need to take a break. The shirts should be seliverred to all by the end of a two week period and I will be on oncfe in a hwile to check but I am basically on a BassResource.com Vacation.

 The fellas Im close to , we all have each others emails and phone #'s so ill stick with that for a while. See Ya all, time for a break

I can understand needing a break now and again, we all have our sabatacles but don't leave because of "A" member.  I mean,...there are like at least 3 of us who like you here so he's way outnumbered.

Muddy, i don't know you. But you seem to be a classy type guy. All i know is that between you, LBH and Avid i can always get some good laughs in here. Everyone needs a break from time to time, even from the net. So, enjoy you some good fishing outings and relax and have some fun. You will be missed in here.

I understand taking a break as I have done that a couple of times but there is just something that pulls me back. It must be all the great BC.com members. I live near a small town with the city limit sign that says;

The baseball thread won't be the same without you.  I haven't posted much to it lately because my Cardinals suck this year, but I still read it every day.  Maybe you could make an exception and check this thread now and then?   :-?  Most of us will miss you, but don't sweat those that don't.  I doubt if any of us are liked by everyone on the forum.  Hell, there's over 10,000 of us.  That's what makes a community. . . the good and the bad.   Enjoy your sabbatical and I look forward to you coming back refreshed and, hopefully, before the playoffs.

I hate to hear this Muddy.  I love your sense of humor, and great bass fishing insight (well, one out of two ain't bad ).

You're a veteran here at BR and know how things work.  The troublemakers come and usually go very shortly.  Common sense normally runs them off.

Anyway, hope you're back with us soon.

I will miss you Muddy,as I enjoy your post. I know how you feel though. I have had a few similar incidents. Only a couple of real bad ones though, where someone got my personal email and just pounded me. Other than that its only been some different opinions and light head butting, nothing major. Take a break, get a deep breath and come back soon, you will be missed.

Hey Cajun, I make fun of myself more than these fellas ever could. This goes a little deeper, and was avoided by me for as long as I could take. But when somone posted a sesies of FEMINIZATION and Gay stuff at you, you ignore it now the only interaction is to insuatate i know nothing at all, and you go out of the way to write a non attacking ,PM asking the fellow whats up and don't get an answer. Then there was the full of BS author here, you know maybe I expected too much from this internet thing, So I need a break,

I know you have your reasons for making this decision.

I'm glad you didn't delete your profile.

I just want to say.  That I support you and walk with you on whatever path you choose to follow.

You are one of God's special people.  

I define that as meaning that even though life is filled with suffering, you have suffered more than your share and yet go on, touching lives and making them better for knowing you.

I admire, your strength and courage.  To overcome the obstacles you have faced in life is truly an achievement. Many have tried and failed.  Many have tried and succeeded because you were there to pick them up when they fell.

The forum will be less during your sabbatical.  Your humor will be missed of course, but your compassion and role modeling for those who face troubles they believe to be insurmountable, is your true legacy.

Honestly i almost left myself when somebody mentioned or hinted you gotta have more post counts to be respected in one topic.Just ignore it....i been on far too many internet boards fishing and non fishing related.Believe me if i wanted to i could start an internet war...done it back in my stupid days.

For some reason people nowadays get jealous when they don't get the attention other people get. Sometimes people get picked on because they come off cocky sometimes..even when it's was just meant to be all fun and games.

Gotta becareful sometimes with newer members.

It's all about showing respect,doesn't matter who gives it first,nobody is above nobody.
