Got my week old shimano stolen :(

So thanks all you guys who pointed me in the direction to buy the symetre 2500FI for a spinning reel. It seemed to be great the 1 time i got to use it. Some hood stole it out of my truck last night.Bad thing is,i had the 5500C3 on a shimano 99$ rod next to it and they left that one. I guess he liked the Gold trim on the symetre or didnt know how to cast the abu. Oh well,i guess he needed it worse than me. Being disabled on a limited income makes you miss equipment more once its gone huh. Maybe ill find another one on sale somewhere :'(

God I hate a thief with a passion. I remember years ago my fishing partner and I were fishing a Tourney on Lake Kerr in Va. He dumped me in the water and the boat just went zinnnnnng and would not go anywhere. We pulled it out and the SS prop was missing. It turned out that some other guys props were gone as well. Prop lock was the answer. Dude, that sucks.

Yep, I'm paranoid about it to the point of OCD.  If I'm meeting someone at the ramp, the only thing I leave in my vehicle is a set of tools stowed in the jack compartment.  When I'm pulling my boat, I won't stop where I can't keep my eye on the boat.  If I have to, someone always stays with the boat.

HAHA yeah i thought about puttin some other rods in there and setting in the truck cab because the windows are so dark.Then jump out with a tube sock full of wood screws. I guess we all learn from mistakes
