I had been meaning to send an e-mail to the mods, but I wanted to see if I was the only one ? It takes me full minutes... sometimes 2 or 3 minutes to open the forum list, during busy, day time hours.... then another 1 to 3 minutes to open an individual post... then another 1 to 3 minutes to get a reply page to open. Sometimes my PC just times out... Or, it will say its "done" opening, but I have a blank page and have to refresh 2 to 5 times.

I have a high speed connection, and have only experienced this here, and then mostly from 7 am until 10 pm, during highest usage hours. It's 10:30pm my time right now, and its taking about 30 seconds per page.... Slow, but way better than during the day......

Anybody else ?

Thanks,

Fish

Hey Chris

I started having problems like that yesterday afternoon.  Not taking quite as long but much longer than since the site came back up.  PM's have been a nightmare with things locking up.  Thought it was just me and Vista :o

I had problems exactly like you are having but I think it has gotten better since the forrums came back up. I havent noticed it anyways.

This has always been a problem for me but it is far less since the site was moved. Now it's not that bad.

Most of us are like lightning now.  I think this may be a "Vista" thing.  What are you guys using?  Let's get some info here so when Glenn sees this he can troubleshoot it quicker.

All pages or just main forum list and PM's?

Are you using vista, ie7,firefox,etc?  (I'm using firefox, no delays anywhere)

Thanks guys

Vista, IE7.  Posting on forums and pms... I also think it's Vista but I blame my not catching bigger bass on Vista ;D  It's still way better than before :)

Vista and high speed cable.  Lightning fast on this site, now that it has moved.

Chris,

Sorry, but it seems to be just you.  Is it slow for you both at work AND at home, or just at work?  I'm guessing work, because I experience problems at work accessing ANY forum using YaBB.  I attribute that to our freakish, over-protective IT department and their myriad of firewalls, spyware bloatware LAN desk software, virus software, etc... a virtual fortress to keep us from using our computers and getting any work done!
