Super User Hookemdown. Posted August 7, 2007 Super User Posted August 7, 2007 Air went out about 7pm today. Hopefully we can get this thing fixed soon. Right now it's almost 9pm and it's 90 degrees outside, 82 inside. This weeks highs: Tues- 99 Wed- 101 Thurs-102 Fri-102 :'( I think LBH has something to do with this. Quote
=Matt 5.0= Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 I feel your pain. After a long day in the hot UPS truck, I just wanna go home to the central AC.... Quote

frogtog Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 How would you guys have survived in the fifties we had no ac or fans. Didn't have any in school either and we didn't get to go home because it was hot. The brown bags under our desks would be smelling up something by lunch time. ;D Quote

I'm still hot. Quote
stilldontlikeyou Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 Aw man, I feel your pain. We detail cars for 10 hours a day in this small metal building which just absorbs heat, and all we got is 2 fans and a water cooler. :-? Quote
frogtog Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 Yep that's the one. ;D we also had cardboard in our shoes. When you get ready for bed just take a cooler full of ice and leave the lid open set a fan where it can blow across it. This works good. Quote
tipptruck1 Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 Whats a/c? I really can not stand a/c. I work most of the time in a 70 degree room and iam still sweating I disagree off. So I can really deal with the heat. I have no clue were you live. But try to live in any of the midwest states right now. I use to live in iowa and it was not fun this time of year. you had 90 degree plus temps. Then you add 100% humity it was horible. So now with living in Wisconsin 90 degree temps with about 70% humity is like winter to me. Just go swiming. Quote
Super User Hookemdown. Posted August 7, 2007 Author Super User Posted August 7, 2007 Update. 84 outside 85 inside I would go outside, but then there's the mosquitoes... Quote
Super User burleytog Posted August 7, 2007 Super User Posted August 7, 2007 Update. 84 outside 85 inside I would go outside, but then there's the mosquitoes... You know those things on the walls? You know, the clear things that allow you to look outside? I think they're called windows. Just open one on each side of the house and put a fan pulling air into one and a fan blowing out into another. Quote

Super User KU_Bassmaster. Posted August 7, 2007 Super User Posted August 7, 2007 Those things always seem to happen at the worst possible times. Happened to us about 3 years ago. I stayed at a friend's house. Quote
