GLAVINE GETS WIN NUMBER 300

HEY FELLAS; He bacame the first to do it wearing a Met's Uniform. Two former Mets NOLAN RYAN and SEAVER  did it pitching for other teams. Glavine got most of em for ATLANTA but #300 came wearing the ORANGE AN BLUE!!!!!!!!

 He not only got 300 but has helped carry this team this year and is a great guy to top it all!

Mark " The Bird" Fidrich(sp) was a nice guy...lol...to bad he hurt his arm so early in his career...lol  GO TIGERS...lol

Don't confuse being a media darling and a flashy guy with not being a good guy. This man has embedded himself in a lot of charitable work for kids, he is accessible at the stadium and has given so much to the youngsters in the bullpen. Just because he couldnt get along with Cox, and left the Braves dosen't make him public enemy number one. He dosen't talk to baseballs but he gives to the kids, I would rather that

It's a travesty that Glavine got 300 wearing a Mets uniform .

All kidding aside, Glavine is one of the nice guys in sports. There are not a lot of them left.

By the way muddy, it appears that you have been a Mets fan for a long time. You should know by now not to ignore the Braves. Watch out, the Braves are on a roll.

Yep I liked Tom Glavine since I was young because he was involved off the field(and not like Pacman or Vick) and he shut up and got it done.  Congrats to him for a great accomplishment.

i AM WELL AWARE THE bRAVES ARE IN THE WEEDS, OTHER THAN THE METS THE TWO ORGANIZATIONS I LOVE IN BASEBALL ARE THE BRAVES AND THE CARDINALS,.

IF I GREW UP AS A BRAVES FAN I WOULD DEFINITLEY HAVE THE SAME RESENTMENT OF TOM GETTING 300 IN THE ENEMY UNIFORM. I AM SURE IT WAS LIKE ME SEEING SEAVER IN A YANKEE UNIFORM :-[ :'(

How right you are pondhopper, its just a crying shame that vick and pacman will be remembered probally a lot long for a lot less. Congrats to Glavine and the mets
