come on back ed! everyone misses you and your videos....although i have never seen one(anyone got a link), you have offered me answers to my questions i posted and always seemed to say "good job" to anyone who posted pics of their catch.

jeremyt, You've got it all wrong.  Avid and I have no animosity toward each other.  Although I have never met the man face to face, I have learned to like and respect him.  I sincerely believe that the feeling is mutual.  We both have a lot in common, not the least of which is hurling the occasional good-natured insult at each other.  You may be surprised to know that Muddy, Avid and I have a secret fishing trip planned sometime in the not real near future.  We will be fishing on an electric-only lake and will each be fishing out of our own boats.  What a perfect scenario!  Spending a day on the lake with Muddy and Avid and not speaking a word to either of them - My idea of heaven.

I don't get to the Forums very often now days, but when I do I always look to see what you've come up with. You ain't quite right , but you're funny and your priorities are right. Most of us enjoy your humor, and the ones who don't do not have to view it. They certainly don't have any right to discourage or attack you because of it. If you cross any lines (as many of us have), Glenn or the Mod Squad will let you know. Life is too short to pay attention to folks with nothing good to say. I wish you well. When you are rich and famous, remember us little people.

As sporadic as my visits have been this summer, I have to say I didn't notice you were gone either.  But welcome back, Ed!!  I completely enjoy seeing your videos and hearing about your success.  Don't EVER get the feeling that you are not wanted here again.  As far as most of us, we'll tell you straight up if we don't approve of something (in a very nice way of course).  Glad to see your with us again.
