Super User KU_Bassmaster. Posted July 29, 2007 Super User Posted July 29, 2007 I just don't see how the Patriots won't DOMINATE this year My Chiefs will be lucky to get to 8-8 ..... and that depends heavily on who is taking the snaps and if LJ gets to camp Quote
Super User burleytog Posted July 29, 2007 Super User Posted July 29, 2007 I just don't see how the Patriots won't DOMINATE this year One word, chemistry. Or the lack thereof. Quote
bassmasta7 Posted July 29, 2007 Posted July 29, 2007 Joey Harrington is going to lead my Falcons to the Superbowl. I cant say that with a straight face. But seriously, I think that the Chargers are going to beat the Bears 24-10. LT MVP and Adrian Peterson R.O.Y. Quote
Guest ncbass24 Posted July 29, 2007 Posted July 29, 2007 San Diego Chargers over the New York Giants (yeah I said GIANTS) 31-21 in the superbowl this year. This is going to be the year that Eli Manning finally puts it together, but my Chargers are just to much for the boys from NY. Quote
jeremyt Posted July 29, 2007 Posted July 29, 2007 I see the Chargers winning it all. ( Hey I am a big NC State fan, gotta pull for my boy Rivers), if its not the Chargers I would love to see the Saints in it. They went from the aint's two years ago to a well respected team last year. Quote

Or the lack thereof. questioning the patriots lack of chemistry is just mind boggeling to me. i think the pats look darn good on paper but if they dont get asante samuel into camp with their secondary injury problems i cant see them making it all the way. and dont forget stallworth is way overrated(trust me i know from his time with the saints). remember we traded him for mark simaneau last year cause we had joe horn and a project in seventh round pick colston so donte aint all that good. Bassboy15 Posted July 29, 2007 Posted July 29, 2007 Ku, ku, ku, are chiefs will be 13-3...trust me Have you seen our schedule? Quote
Ky_Lake_Dude Posted July 30, 2007 Posted July 30, 2007 I think my Titans will go 10&6or 11&5. I think we'll give the colts a run for there money in the AFC South because last year we had fewer above average players than we do this year and the first time we played them we lost 13-12 and the 2nd time we beat them. Even though we lost Pac-Man at CB we got Nick Harper at that position. Also at Cornerback we drafted Michael Griffin from Texas in the 1st round. We just signed a veteran WR in Eric Moulds and Defensive Linemen Simeon Rice is meeting with the Titans organization. Then we signed back Chris Brown who was with some other team for a year or two, to go with Lendale White. And we got good ol Vince Young too. Quote
Sean_e_bus_21 Posted July 30, 2007 Posted July 30, 2007 LT ALL THE WAY BABY MVP and 1st superbowl SAN DIEGO SUPERCHARGERS Ku, ku, ku, are chiefs will be 13-3...trust me Have you seen our schedule? yea the got the Broncos and the Chargers that has a L written all over it Sean Quote

Super User Matt Fly Posted July 30, 2007 Super User Posted July 30, 2007 Last year was a learning year for my fellow longhorn, Vince. He won't catch teams off guard this year as he did last year. A few of those wins were due to the other teams lack of concentration on defense, ie... last minute wins. It will be tougher this year, but I hope I'm wrong. I think Chicago is the better built team in the NFC, Championships are won with a very solid defense, and very few Super Bowls have ever been won with a high powered offense. Lets see if Rex move the ball with consistency this year. Chicago in the NFC, and the AFC is a toss up. NE, SD, Balt. and Defending SB champs, the Colts all can win it all in the AFC. With that being said, lets see how injuries play into the season. Matt Quote
llPa1nll Posted July 30, 2007 Posted July 30, 2007 I like my PATRIOTS chances. This of course, will all depend om injuries and whether or not they can ink a deal with Asante. If they get him signed and stay healthy, I see them making the playoffs and going deep. I mean last yr R. Harrison was injured the last game and Brady had no receiver talent to speak of, and they made it so the AFC Championship game. Go Patriots! Quote
Super User Sam Posted July 31, 2007 Super User Posted July 31, 2007 Cajun, You have been eating too much gumbo. Saints in the Super Bowl? I would be greatly surprised to see them make the playoffs this year. I hope they do make the playoffs, but I just can't see the Saints as a real contender this year. Of course the teams I pull for (Patriots, Raiders, Redskins, Steelers and Packers) may not do all that well, either, with the exception of the Patriots. And I just don't like the Colts as I am not a Manning lover. Any of the Mannings. (Remember, the greatest play in the history of Ole Miss football and Eli falls on his ***.) I usually wait to see what LSU players are on what teams and then follow those teams very carefully. I will also watch Brady Quinn since, according to the TV broadcasters at the NFL draft, Brady was the Number 1 Overall Pick this year. ;D But for now...Geaux Saints! Quote
Cajun1977 Posted July 31, 2007 Author Posted July 31, 2007 sam the saints are going this year, definintly making the playoffs. but ive got my paperbag just in case they dont ;D Quote
Super User burleytog Posted July 31, 2007 Super User Posted July 31, 2007 They don't call them the 'Aints for nothing. ;D Quote
GoBlue80 Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 Well i think the chargers have a real good chance to go to the super bowl , ubut i am a niners fan i know they won't go. i think it will be a team that we are not expectin like the cards or something Quote
Super User Matt Fly Posted July 31, 2007 Super User Posted July 31, 2007 I forgot about the Saints in the NFC. If the Saints can tighten the defense up, they have as good of a chance as any one. Two of the best rookies in the league last year and one of them was a steal. Bush and Colston. Colston would have gotten my vote for Offensive Rookie of the year. Drew Brees has been a winner since he was in JR High!!!!!! And the winning hasn't seemed to stop at any of the other stops along the way. I don't think Drew ever lost a regular season High School game at Austin Westlake. He put Purdue on the map in the Big 10. He's a winner, and winners find a way to get their teams wins. They have some young talent around him. I like my Cowboys chances also. Moving Roy Williams closer to the line is gonna put some black and blue marks on some running backs. We still have an unproven QB in Romo. Matt Quote
