Fishing needs (Survey)

OK, I am doing a survey:  What needs do you have when fishing that there is no product for on the market. I'll start.  (Maybe they are out there but I just don't know)

Weedless Octopus hooks for wacky rigging in weedy areas.

Trolling motors that can automatically keep you on a spot in a windy day without intervention. (Compensates for wind, drift, etc)

Senkos that don't fall apart after about 3-4 fish.

If you grab some of the rubber bands for braces they work well for octopus style hooks and making them weedless!  My buddy figured that out!

And although they're not senkos I think the brand is actually wacky worms, they hold together really well.  I bought some at the 2005 bassmaster classic in pittsburgh and I still have the same bag of fifty

Move up to the 6" Senko so you won't catch so many bass.

The 3-4 fish you catch on this bait will put a smile on your

face and I don't think you will have any complaints.

BPS Stik-O's.  They harder than Senkos and don't tear up as easy.  You can also cast them a mile.

- Gamakatsu makes a style of these that's perfect. I think Cabela's has them. I'll try to find a link.

- YUM dingers are a little more durable, but I think the cheaper you get, the more durable you get. If you want that great Senko action I think you'll have to stick with the ones prone to tearing.

Thanks, dude!  As far as the trolling motor goes, I am thinking an anchor is just to cumbersome sometimes.  I would liek to see a trolling motor that keep the boat perfectly positioned where I want it without pivoting off the anchor rope.

About that trolling motor.... have you ever heard of a power pole?  A bunch of guys on the pro circuit are starting to use them to keep still on a windy day.  They were originally made for the flats down in Florida and stuff but they work great for bass fishing and are durable as anything.

I could use...  A mono that doesn't twist

-A braid that ties better and doesn't cut into the spool

-any easily used swimbait that is not too small but not the size of those whole trout they are throwin out west (not live i mean)

-A suspending rattle trap... that would be cool

... (i know i could probably find some of this stuff but it aint easy when you're on the budget of a highschool sophomore!)

1 Senko   :-/  3-4 bass; think I'll choose the bass  

Anchor will dang sure hold you're boat in place & is a lot cheaper than a Power Pole

BassinAssassin171, there is aleady a suspending Rat-L-Trap it's called the red zone model.

ablefisher, Pinpoint trolling motors had that feature also coupled with a sonar unit to maintain the selected depth. PM sent about the Octopus hook

To go with the topo's for small lakes, also better ramps at smaller lakes. Up here in NH there are so many great lakes that are impossible to get a trailered boat into, even a small one

I'd also like a lure that searches out, tracks down and hooks the largest bass in the lake all on it's own. All i have to do is reel it in.

BPS Stik-O's. They harder than Senkos and don't tear up as easy. You can also cast them a mile.

I love Stik-O's. I don't know many people who use them though. They stay together much better than senkos though their action isn't as good.

I for one would like to see zoom come out a senko-type bait. They are one of the only soft bait manufacturers that doesn't have some permutation of the senko in their line up.

Make that three. Being in high school its hard to afford fishing stuff. On the other hand I don't have any bills to pay so all the money I earn gets sucked into my tackle box.
