Guest avid Posted July 1, 2007 Posted July 1, 2007 We better hurry. I just got an order from them for "fire sale" hand bills. I said "when was the fire?" They said tomorrow. Quote

Zel Posted July 2, 2007 Posted July 2, 2007 I took the shirts to the Printer on Thursday, 6/28. The Printer said the shirts will be ready in under two weeks. It's a small one-man custom art/print shop. The guy is a real artist, and as with most artists, he is a bit unique. He has been slammed as of late with special requests from all over the country because of his artistic talent, and has even decided to take down his website (which he just set up), so he can catch up on his work. Super User Root beer Posted July 2, 2007 Super User Posted July 2, 2007 Thanks ZEl HEY FOLKS THIS PRESENTS A SMALL DELAY PROBLEM. I WILL BE ON VACATION FROM 7/8 UNTIL 7/16 SO I WILL SHOP THEM OUT A COUPLE OF DAYS AFTER I GET HOME Y'all just got mooked! Quote
Super User Root beer Posted July 2, 2007 Super User Posted July 2, 2007 I DON'T UNDERSTAND, NO ONE IS GETTING MOOKED. I HAVE NEVER DONE ANYTHING LIKE THIS BEFORE, AND IT HAS TAKEN SOME 3 WEEKS LONGER THAN EXPECTED, THIS IS WHY I AM KEEPING ALL THOSE INVOLVED UPDATED THROUGH OUT THE ENTIRE PROCESS It a joke gone bad. Sorry. See muddy, I notice sometimes you'll say you got mooked, and blah blah, just to be funny. So I thought I'd pull your own joke on you. Sorry for confusing. Quote
Guest the_muddy_man Posted July 3, 2007 Posted July 3, 2007 IF CAPS BOTHER YOU SIMPLE SOLUTION DON'T READ THE POST GO TOTHE NEXT ONE. Quote
Guest the_muddy_man Posted July 3, 2007 Posted July 3, 2007 Hey KW: Sorry i misunderstood. I am feeling pressured because people paid up and the project is draggin> SORRY ACTUALLY THAT WAS MY FAULT I deleted the post Quote
Super User burleytog Posted July 3, 2007 Super User Posted July 3, 2007 On Internet chat systems and Usenet, typing in all capitals is considered rude, the large letters akin to shouting or yelling within the social context. On a more practical level, caps lock may be difficult to read. [1] A user who excessively uses capital letters may be advised to "lay off the caps lock." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caps_lock Quote
Guest the_muddy_man Posted July 3, 2007 Posted July 3, 2007 WHAT EVER MKES YOU HAPPY. ME I DO WHAT MAKES ME HAPPY IF IF CAPS MAKES ME HAPPY THEN SEE ABOVE POST Quote
Zel Posted July 3, 2007 Posted July 3, 2007 Please don't blame Muddy for the delay on the shirts. He was only being cautious, and didn't want me ordering the shirts until he received the majority of money up front (I think he didn't want me getting stuck). I have always felt the integrity of the members on this board to be outstanding, and I knew deep down that I wouldn't get stuck holding the bag. I should have just ordered them right away without hesitation my mistake! Quote
Guest the_muddy_man Posted July 3, 2007 Posted July 3, 2007 HEY BROTHER ZEL: I think we did it OK as I never ventured into something like this, and I always try to follow through. I think everyone understands and I have kept all informed. Actually everyone has come through i got the last two MO's this week. We will have a few left and we will post whats left after the first mailing goes out. It still remains GOOD IN THE HOOD Quote
Panamoka_Bassin Posted July 3, 2007 Posted July 3, 2007 Hey guys, thanks for all the work you're doing for these tees! Maybe its gone by the roadside, but I'm sure every mook will echo my thoughts, especially in keeping us updated. When they're done, they're done, and that's how it is. Like the saying goes, "You can't rush perfection." Quote
Deb Posted July 4, 2007 Posted July 4, 2007 Also, GOOD THINGS COME TO THOSE WHO WAIT! besides, it's too danged hot in KY to wear black right now! Personally, I'm just grateful ya'll didn't throw in the towel and give up! Determined people do great things! Take your time. I'll enjoy it whenever it gets here, doesn't matter if it's tomorrow or Christmas. deb Quote
