Speckled Bass Posted June 29, 2007 Posted June 29, 2007 I've been a member of this forum since March 13,07 and have yet to see a Welcome Member forum created by either the Admin nor the Mods on this forum like I've seen on other forums I'm a member of. Is it so hard for people who have been members on here for some time to make Newbies like myself to feel welcome ? Quote
Cajun1977 Posted June 29, 2007 Posted June 29, 2007 just make a post saying hi im so and so, its not a big deal by the way welcome to the forum Quote
Super User Alpster Posted June 29, 2007 Super User Posted June 29, 2007 Speckled Bass, There is a little netiquette that is helpful here. When I joined this forum I introduced myself on the general board and almost instantly received dozens of welcomes and never felt so noticed in my life. Any time you join a new forum it's a good idea to make it known on the main or general topic board. Try going to the 'General" board and post a short introduction and I think you will be surprised at the response. I hope this is helpful to you. Check out LukyinKentucky's post. You will get the idea. http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1183044896 BTW "WELCOME to the best bass fishing forum there is... Ronnie Quote

Super User roadwarrior Posted June 29, 2007 Super User Posted June 29, 2007 Welcome aboard! You were NOT ignored, we just missed your initial post. As Alpster suggested, go to the "General Forum" and start a new thread "HI!" Introduce yourself and get noticed! -Kent a.k.a. roadwarrior Global Moderator Quote
