Fendercaster Posted June 19, 2007 Posted June 19, 2007 I'm a route driver, delivering chips and other snacks. A good job for me, I can pretty much work my own schedule as long as all my stops are done by the end of the week. I stayed out 'til 3:30 this morning catfishing, so I took the day off and will work Saturday if I need to. On the weekends, I'm a lead guitarist/bassist/vocalist in a couple local country/classic rock bands. Quote

powerman970 Posted June 19, 2007 Posted June 19, 2007 I own a print shop. We manufacture and sell personalized receipt books. I have no printing experience and would not know how to run a press if it bit me. All our printing is done on Risographs (digital duplicators that look like Xerox machines but have an ink drum in them instead of toner.) Just thought I would throw that in there because it looks like we have several people in the printing industry here. The huge upside to my job is that I only physically go in to the office about 3 days a week so I have plenty of time to fish. Quote
Super User Root beer Posted June 19, 2007 Super User Posted June 19, 2007 I'm a merchandiser for Flowers food. My brother owns a bread route (least for another couple month then he selling it back.) Super User Sam Posted June 20, 2007 Super User Posted June 20, 2007 Insurance consultant - no sales. Commercial, industrial, manufacturing, retail, schools and municipals are my clients. I try to help my clients screw the insurance companies before the insurance companies screw them. I have to dress like a banker for business meetings so it is great to go fishing like a normal person and wear fun clothes and relax from all of the stress of fighting underwriters, agents and claims adjusters. A number of my clients told me that they can't imagine me in a Big Johnson tee shirt, cut offs, tennis shoes and going fishing or to a NASCAR race. Fishing is my "You Only Live Twice" life and I keep it totally separate from my career. Quote
