BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted June 21, 2007 BassResource.com Administrator Posted June 21, 2007 Anyone here know of a good print shop where I can have business cards made? Quote
Panamoka_Bassin Posted June 21, 2007 Posted June 21, 2007 Man, I'll tell ya, its not easy. I've been searching and searching, but all the internet companies just don't seem too reputable. I've gone the route of trying to make my own and that's no piece of cake either. If anyone does know of a good company, I'd like to know also. Quote
BASS fisherman Posted June 21, 2007 Posted June 21, 2007 A few months back I ordered 500 from vista print. I got the "free" ones, but had to pay for s&h which was only around $5-6 bucks. They came a week later and were good. No errors or mistakes. Even if you don't get the free ones, they have pretty low prices none the less. I don't know if I'd call them reputable, but they did good by me. Here's the link: http://www.vistaprint.com/vp/ns/default.aspx?xnav=welcomeback&xnid=removecookies Quote
Mrs.Bladesmith Posted June 21, 2007 Posted June 21, 2007 It's easier to make your own when you have good software. I use The Print Shop from Broderbund. It's easy to figure out, and right now it's on sale for $39.99. Mine cost about $70.00, and it's older. Hmmm. I might have to upgrade. http://www.broderbund.com/jump.jsp?itemType=CATEGORY&itemID=6&path=1%2C2%2C6 Quote
Low_Budget_Hooker Posted June 22, 2007 Posted June 22, 2007 My neighbor owns a print shop, I'll try and catch him going to his car this morning. Quote
Low_Budget_Hooker Posted June 22, 2007 Posted June 22, 2007 I didn't see him so I emailed him before I left for work. His reply.... Hey Russ: Yes, we do print business cards. But because the printing industry is such a nich market, the process that we use for printing business cards is cost efficient only when there are a large quantity of cards involved. If the company you work for can give me the specs (type of stock, number of colors, 1-side or 2-sided printing, number of cards per name, etc.) I'd be more than happy to work up a price. Thanks for thinking of me. If someone was interested in one or two orders of 500 each, I'd advise them that they would probably do better price wise at a walk-in shop like a Sir Speedy or "The Print Shops" at 70 Cliff St. in East Greenwich near the CVS. Super User Gatorbassman Posted June 25, 2007 Super User Posted June 25, 2007 My wife and I both use vista print. They are fast and do a good job. I don't know about the high quality stuff though. Quote
