RiskKid. Posted June 19, 2007 Posted June 19, 2007 Just one thought from a die hard Titan fan........UGHHHHHHH!!!!!! It's embarrasing!!!!!! Quote
razyrsharpe Posted June 19, 2007 Posted June 19, 2007 just goes to show that the NFL was right on the money with the punishment they doled out. however, jones does not seem to have gotten the message. Quote
Ninerman Posted June 19, 2007 Posted June 19, 2007 Guess all the strip clubs make him do it...lol ;D Quote
Super User Matt Fly Posted June 19, 2007 Super User Posted June 19, 2007 I know that anybody that comes into large sums of money at that age is gonna find trouble once in awhile. But ......... He has worn his welcome out in the NFL, they should ban him for ever to set an example of learning to keep better company around. Thats before this last issue ever came about. Matt Quote
Super User 5bass Posted June 20, 2007 Super User Posted June 20, 2007 Pac Man Jones is a thug, plain and simple. And so are his buddy's that keep shootin' everything up. I hope they do ban him forever, then he can really go and "thug out" and nobody will have to hear about it. Quote
Super User burleytog Posted June 20, 2007 Super User Posted June 20, 2007 Given the events of the last week, I would be surprised if he ever plays another down in the NFL. Quote
dickenscpa Posted June 20, 2007 Posted June 20, 2007 Given the events of the last week, I would be surprised if he ever plays another down in the NFL. I want to agree with you. I live here in Mid-TN and like someone above mentioned, it's embarrassing. I hope he never plays another down myself, but..... there's always the Raiders. : Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted June 20, 2007 Super User Posted June 20, 2007 I don't know about ever playing another down in the NFL, but it won't be in Nashville. The Titans are done with that fool. Quote

I hope he never plays another down myself, but..... there's always the Raiders. : Dont be crackin' on the Raiders! Well, to be honest you're absolutely right. You could probably "insert team name here" with any NFL team out there. Won't be long 'til the NFL will have to coordinate Sunday games with local work release programs. They're all relative, case in point: Cincinatti has 11 players arrested. Tennessee has 1 player arrested 11 times. I don't know which is the lesser of two evils. I guess that's what they get for always working on Church day. Quote
Big T Posted June 21, 2007 Posted June 21, 2007 I tried posting on this topic last night, but had computer problems. Anyway I think Pacman Jones is like alot of other pro football and basketball players. They are overpaid street thugs. They are no better than a common street criminal, with the exception that they are rich. Because of this all of sudden America seems to care about what happens to them. The sad part of it all is alot that kids and teenager see these clowns as role models Big T Quote
mattm Posted June 22, 2007 Posted June 22, 2007 He just doesn't get it. I was hoping he would learn after the one year suspension, but he obviously didn't. Quote
Super User 5bass Posted June 22, 2007 Super User Posted June 22, 2007 Mike Vick is about to get the smackdown laid upon him too! I'm glad the new commisioner is all about cleaning up the trash in the NFL....its been a long time coming. Quote
fishingrulz Posted June 22, 2007 Posted June 22, 2007 The guy that was paralyzed for life was my best friends dad's best friend...I hope he gets the maximum punishment possible. Quote
Big T Posted June 23, 2007 Posted June 23, 2007 Ha, I almost forgot about Mike Vick, I never liked him or his brother ever sense they were at VA Tech. The problem with pro sports starts at the college level though. These big time football and basketball programs recruit kids for the wrong reasons. They recruit them as athletes first and students second, instead of vice versa. If truth be known over half of them do not even have the grades to get into these schools. It is all about the money, championships and making the Alumni happy, where as it should be about getting an education, becoming a productive citzen instead of being an overpaid pro-athelete/hoodalum.
