Tonight my buddy my brother and me went out to a battle of the bands thing. Well I went there looking for a woman. We were there for like a hour intill we wanted some food. We got back and I was checking out a good looking woman. As Iam trying to figure out if she taken. She starts talking to my buddy. She couldn't keep her eyes off of him. This whole time he was standing right next to me. The only word she said to me if I wanted some gum. Iam sure my breath stunk I was drinking some beer. Put I did learn some things from this. 1. If your looking for a woman don't bring a friend. 2. Also it helps if your friends make you look good. So Iam still date less. Iam going to try to get out next week.

Let me make a suggestion.

Try joining a club or something that you have some interest in, but that will also attract girls.

Check out your community center.  See what they offer.

Very often they have activities for young adults.

After my divorce I joined a hiking club.  I had no intention of meeting women, I just thought it would be a good way to get back into shape while spending time outdoors.

Now, it's true that I am one of the worlds best looking men,  

but putting that aside for a moment, I was one of the few men in the group and had women falling over each other to walk along side me.

I dated several of the women from this group.

So the moral of the story is to go where the women are, even if it is not a traditional "dating" type place.

True story.  

My cousin and I stopped in a bar for a minute.  This place was a hole.  We werent there for more then 5 min and some "older women" 2x our age started hitting on him.  Lets just say she wasnt attractive at all.  (keeping forum clean).  While I was cruising the dive I saw the look from him no words just the stare.  So I proceeded over to where he was stuck and I interupted.  I was like "Wazup".  Well this is where it get bad/ignorant.   I was doing my best being polite and not ignorant to get him out of it with a story on why we had to go, but She figured out what was going on pretty quick.  In a real ignorant voice she said " Oh I guess you guys arent interested"  my response was "Nope".  I did clean this up for the forum.

If you watch women do this all the time.  Alot of the time it even goes unnoticed.  I think it happens more then men do it.  I do agree with Avid also.

As far as the beer/drinks go.  Not a good idea to over do it.  Its just distastfull.  Not saying anything wrong with a couple drinks when cruisin for chicks but good chicks dont like to hang around drunks in my experience.  Good ones atleast.  They dont want to get mixed up in that.  If your there at a bar looking for chicks its a social game not a who can get hammered the best.  Leave that one for catfishing with the buds.

Always use a designated driver.  This is also a very good scape goat to get out of bad conversations.  Oh the DD is here gotta go.

It seems the harder you look the less likely you will find.  Don't think of it as hunting.  Just go about your day and let it happen.  If you can't just let it happen (takes time) then try this.  Go to your local grocery store in the A.M during the week,  many woman shop at that time.  If you approach 10 woman a day for a week and just strike up a conversation I gaurantee you will get lucky with a 1 hour fling or maybe even a 2nd date.  OR get slapped 50 times, HAHAHA.   REMEMBER, girls are no different then men.  They have needs too and at the right time and right place everyone is vulnerable.  If all else fails then there is laways the CHICKEN farm..

drink more, pick one out and buy here plenty of drinks...starting out dont aim so high, start out with ones that is do-able, got to work your way up.

if i think of more I will post.....learned alot being in college 8 years at one of the nations best party schools, but you forget alot too.... the  party lifestyle i led back then, i  had alot more one niters than girlfriends so there are alot of things that worked that i dont remember, which there are alot of things you dont want to remember, another great thing about beer...

You could always try what my one of my college roomates would do when he was in a slump...Throw a kegger or go to a kegger or club(especially on ladies nite,dollar nite,etc.) well hang around and get good and buzzed, go out later if needed. You want to be there at closing time or one of the last to leave the party. You pick the best looking girl left that is unspoken for or  dancing alone  and the drunkier the better as long as she isnt puking  and work your mojo. etc. Worked well for him over the years, I have even used this strategy when needed.

Tip you are looking for love in all the wrong places. You just don't go to a bar looking for a woman. Try going to a singles club By Your Self. It sounds like

the biggest problem you have with finding a woman is your friends. You might even try the churches ( man their are some good women at church ) But then again the bar is allright if you are looking for a one night stand. What the heck do I know, I use to do the same thing you are doing. I got drunk one night and passed out, wokeup the next morning and there she was. Thirty five years later

I wakeup and she is still there.

Belive me guys I forgot about looking after we got some food. My buddy pointed her out after we got back. I really wasn't looking because it was a all ages show. So all the woman were like 18 and under. There was like only four woman over 21 there. As for one night stands I couldn't do them. Iam afraid if I did it I would have a few kids right now. Theres only one thing that scares me more then being a father. That is putting a ring on a womans finger. I also wasn't drinking a lot I had a few beers at that time I saw her. I would rather pick up a woman sober. Then she dosn't think its the beer talking. I also can't go out during the week. I can't stand to drive even after one beer. But thank you guys for the advice.

There ARE better places to pick up women than at the bar. Like Frogtog said (and as I have suggested before) alot of churches have singles ministries. You'll find alot better quality women there. It sounds like you are more interested in the women than the extra-curricular activity anyway. Avid is dead on with other activities as well (perhaps a birding group, hiking, etc. . . heck, you might even want to join a scrap-booking group [i'm sure there's nothing but women there, LOL, JK]) The grocery store might be full of a bunch of married women, so beware!

We've been telling you to find a new group of friends and go at this from a new angle. Why not try something different!
