DISCLAIMER:  I am not liable if you get slapped by your wife and/or grounded by your dad.

Step 1.  Find TV controller

Step 2.  Change channel to CSPAN1 or CSPAN2 (your choice)

Step 3.  Place TV controller in your tackle box

Step 4.  Go Fishing

We've got digital cable (the box doesn't have any buttons) so without the changer, it's impossible.

Gman, I've already done that SEVERAL times, turned the batteries the wrong way, even put in dead ones.  My dads getting a little clever, so I think I'll try this one on him tomorrow.

What real man wants to put down his beer, set aside the chips, and GET UP to go change the channel.  I don't think by dad would be able to. :P

No you got to put a channel lock and all his channels. That would tick me off more.

We wouldn't get up to change the channel, but thank nothing of getting up and spending 2 hours searching for the da** remote.
