Super User Hookemdown. Posted June 4, 2007 Super User Posted June 4, 2007 Well actually I'm 3 days too late. I checked my profile about five minutes ago and noticed that i've already been here an entire year! When I first started on this site I was just a young punk who knew next to nothing about fishing. Now a year later (and still a young punk) I can actually teach my friend a thing or two about fishing. It's amazing how far I've progressed. So to you all here at the forums and especially to Glenn. I say a big THANK YOU! Quote
BucketmouthAngler13 Posted June 4, 2007 Posted June 4, 2007 Sweet! Glenn does do a exelent job with this site. I'll be a one year member in 23 days. Quote
Cephkiller Posted June 4, 2007 Posted June 4, 2007 I'm pretty sure I'm a better fisherman for having joined this board, but I'm sure I have less money than I would have. Before I joined I was perfectly happy with Wallyworld rods and reels. So, thanks....I guess. Quote
Super User KU_Bassmaster. Posted June 4, 2007 Super User Posted June 4, 2007 Probably an on going theme here ....... More knowledge, less money Quote
skillet Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 Congratulations hookemdown!! I try (try being the key word here) to be a little conservative when the monkey hopes on my back. I just figure if I don't spend it on tackle, my wife will spend it on something for my Honey-Do list ... As Ever, skillet Quote
tipptruck1 Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 I just saw that in my profile half a hour I would have been here for two years. With out this site I would have never heard of Shimano, St. Croix, Luckycraft or senkos. So I guess I have gone poor since. Quote
Super User Hookemdown. Posted June 5, 2007 Author Super User Posted June 5, 2007 I actually think that I've actually saved money from reading posts on BassResource.com. I never buy anything that isn't recommended by someone here on the site. But then I never would have wanted My new shimano reel, gloomis rod, a few dozen pointers....... But one things for sure, I feel that I can never thank you guys enough for all of your help. And congrats tipptruck Quote
