Top Posted May 26, 2007 Posted May 26, 2007 Please pray for my family, in a couple of days I am effectively leaving them for 15 months. I have a 14 and 12 year old daughter and my much better half is going to have her hands full being a "single mom". She is going to have to run the house as well and make sure the kids get what they need, put up with me being "over there", all the while working at a new job... They say that being an Army Wife is the hardest job in the Army... and at times like this I have to agree... I really feel for her and what she is going to be going through. AL p.s. I will post as soon as I get set up in Iraq... need my Resource fix you know Quote
justfishin Posted May 26, 2007 Posted May 26, 2007 You better believe I will pray for your family while they are sacrificing here and I will pray for you while you are in country. Keep us posted as to any needs either from your family or you during the time you are away. I am sure one of us can be of service or can find someone to address any problems that we are able to help you with. ---Gods speed------Jim Quote

Top Posted May 26, 2007 Author Posted May 26, 2007 We will pray for you. Thank you for serving us!! Please be careful. Ed I subscribed to you on U Tube... Keep up the great work... we are going to be laughing our butts off... LOL maybe a cowardly lion going on a convoy skit? hahahahaha Catt thanks for the compliment but I am no hero... Policemen and Firefighters and the "door kickers" in the Army are my heros... me I am just a staff puke now... while going where I have to go does suck... its nothing compared to what a lot of these fine young men have to do day in and day out AL Quote

GeneinTX Posted May 29, 2007 Posted May 29, 2007 Al, Godspeed to you and your famly. I know your feelings, how can 2 kids or 3 be worse than 30 men. That is the question that we ask, but you already know the answer. Just remember the good staff saves lives, more tahn the good platoon sergeant in the long term. Settle for giving 300, 000%. Your wife will do great. I retired in Oct 05, I know what you are going through. I am very proud of you and your wife. A prayer a day is on the way. Good luck and be careful! Quote
GeneinTX Posted May 29, 2007 Posted May 29, 2007 And one more thing I love you!!! And all that you do for us! Quote
