            I have tried going into town and picking up girls ( literally ) like Ernest T. Bass and I got arrested. I also tried throwing a rock through their window with the same results. What am I doing wrong?

My pickup line that works best is "i lost my phone number can i have yours" its a great start to kinda feel the girl out. Like i say they have diff humor then us but if the lady you say this too actually laughs and gives you her number it means she is funny and interested and another pickup line if your brave is "is that a mirror in your pocket cause i see myself in your pants" 3 things will happen the best of the 3 is "lets get out of this boring place" the 2nd thing that will happen is not so bad either she will say" thats funny ....what are you doing fri night" now worst case scenario is SLAP ........you pervert is that all you men think about and then they give ya a evil eye and leave of course you ask at appropriate times GOOD LUCK man ;D

Pick-up lines are so fake and so far from being yourself, honest, and upfront.  Tipp, don't use pickup lines.  They make good shirts, bumper stickers, and jokes, but I'm sure most women wouldn't appreciate them.  Also, Tipp, I saw where you said you wanted a women to "get out of the house."  If you are looking for a women to "take you away from that", you are looking for the wrong reasons.  You should be seeking a woman for companionship, not for a way out.  There is nothing wrong with living with family.  More and more young people live with them (at least through college, and college takes longer than 4 years these days).

Everyone has offered good advice (except for the pick-up lines, IMO).  Take it and go after a girl.  You can never catch a fish unless your line is in the water!

I guess I'm late on this one but there is one more thing.  Don't be afraid to fail.  If a girl indicates she isn't interested don't let it get you down.  As Avid stated, getting out and going for it is key.  As long as you go for it you will find someone who is interested in you.  It's like fishing.  You gotta' believe you're going to make the catch and eventually you will.

Belive me iam also no looker. I stand 6'2" 320 and going gray in the facial hair. So Iam sure thats one strike all ready. Westplamdude Iam in no hurry to find a woman. I just need to get out of the house. Snice Iam going to be out I would rather look for a woman. But guys I did get go advice from my mom the other night. I told her I was looking for a woman. Then I hear her say "don't rush in to marriage." I think shes the first woman that dosn't want me to get married.

First of all I think men who have alittle gray facial hair are very  sexy. My man-friend can testify to that.
