Murray Posted May 23, 2007 Posted May 23, 2007 I got in from Atlanta back to Alabama at about 1:30 last night and I was in awe/exausted. It was definatly the most emotional show I have ever been to. A lot of anti-Bush/Blair symbolism. Flying pigs, giant laser-prism. If he is coming to your neck of the woods i suggest you go see him if you are a Floyd fan. Simply Amazing. Quote
Hookem Posted May 23, 2007 Posted May 23, 2007 Who is the lead guitarist? Roger's shows are 8-). Quote
skillet Posted May 24, 2007 Posted May 24, 2007 I don't do well with "favorite band" questions :-[usually. If someone could pin me down to just one, it would have to be Pink Floyd. Have never seen them live :-[, to my sorrow. Have heard amazing stories from friends who have!! Haven't heard anything about Waters coming close to Memphis this time... As Ever, Skillet Quote
Super User Dan: Posted May 24, 2007 Super User Posted May 24, 2007 Did he play Dark Side of the Moon? I saw him play Dark Side recently up here in VA. I didn't care for all the political sentiments but it was a very good concert. They had the pig balloon here too but they let it go and I didn't think that was very responsible--letting a giant balloon drift off into the night sky... Some guy asked me for acid while I was at that concert. I thought that was funny because out of all the crazy druggy floyd fans this guy chose me, the young guy with the khaki shorts and buzzcut hair.. Quote

Super User MALTESE FALCON Posted May 24, 2007 Super User Posted May 24, 2007 Of all my favorite groups Floyd is probably the only group I haven't seen. Sounds like it was an amazing concert. Falcon Quote
