Low_Budget_Hooker Posted May 19, 2007 Posted May 19, 2007 Just doing my thing, surfing around and sometimes, 10 or 12 threads in a row are just so positive it makes ya feel good. Guys helping each other, giving to each other, leading without judging and just all kinds of good stuff. Some of the stuff you read here is real time, up to date stuff by guys who have been addicted for years. It really shows in the passion and knowledge involved in some of these threads. What we have here is what so many search for on shelves of tackle shops, clubs, magazine subscriptions, and out on the water. ANSWERS. It's pouring rain here, 42 degrees with a "feels like" of 32 after a week of 80 degree temps. The rain isn't going to stop till noonish tomorrow but we will still have the strong 20-25 NNE winds. The alarm is set for 4am and I'm going fishin'!! Just a big Kudos to all Quote
Super User Alpster Posted May 19, 2007 Super User Posted May 19, 2007 Yep, calling for rain here tomorrow. I got a PM from fishinphil and we are on the water in the morning. It's a BR kind of Friday night. What do the unfortunate ones look forward to. LOL ;D Ronnie Quote

Guest the_muddy_man Posted May 19, 2007 Posted May 19, 2007 Hey Russ thats why we are all here. You are a huge part of the giving here it makes sense you get back so much more Quote
Fisher of Men Posted May 19, 2007 Posted May 19, 2007 Danny, join the club!! Yes, I would have to admit that there's no other place on the 'net that can match the comradery and rapport of BR's members. Credit has to go Glenn and the mod's for helping keep it that way. Furthermore, most everyone are just GREAT people here. (or at least they put up a good front. . . I don't know about that Muddy Man. He's kind of squirrelly. ;D) Russ, I'm there with you, bud!! Tokin' up the BassResource.com fumes with the rest of you! Quote
Low_Budget_Hooker Posted May 19, 2007 Author Posted May 19, 2007 HOLD YOUR HIT!!! Man,...this stuff is nuts! : :-X Just so ya know guys, Eric and I were out dark and early, SMOKED 'EM!!! People in their houses were cupping their coffee mugs looking out the window in their jammies just shaking their heads at us,lmao. When we were pulling out, a resident I don't know, very nice woman, pulls up and rolls down her window and says, "OK, SOUNDQ is here [my license plate] the season can begin" LMAO If she only drove by in Feb when we were busting through the ice!! A special "Thanks" to KU, with the nasty weather, I referred to his chart for a last minute call if we should go or not. Following his chart, we went and we conquered, HARD! Thanks Buddy!! ;D Quote

Super User KU_Bassmaster. Posted May 19, 2007 Super User Posted May 19, 2007 Thre chart never fails OK, KU. The chart. We want it. NOW> It's based on a series of extensive scientific tests that I will not get into. I could right a book about it and I don't want to bore you with that scientific mumble jumble ....... thermodynamics, cytokinesis, passive transport, active transport, mitosis, meiosis, yadda, yadda, yadda (All the Biology terms I can remember off the top of my head. Don't ask me what some of them mean ;D :) So here it is ....... Based on my experiences of "You never know" and 'You snooze you lose" Quote
Super User KU_Bassmaster. Posted May 19, 2007 Super User Posted May 19, 2007 Not what you were expecting huh? ;D ;D Quote
Cephkiller Posted May 19, 2007 Posted May 19, 2007 Not what you were expecting huh? ;D ;D I had a sneaking suspicion it would be something like that so I resisted the temptation to ask. I can't disagree with it, though. Quote
Low_Budget_Hooker Posted May 20, 2007 Author Posted May 20, 2007 Alarm is set for 3:30 this time, still raining, I'm a believer now though. When I wake up, I'll go to the chart, apply all the variables and make my decision then, I'll let you know how it goes again. Quote
Murray Posted May 20, 2007 Posted May 20, 2007 i really do not know what i i would do without this site... by the way it was my 1 year anniversary with BassResource.com about a week ago. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!! (i would get a ring or a necklace for BR but i spent all my money on fishing stuff) Quote
ejtaylor822 Posted May 20, 2007 Posted May 20, 2007 Agree, LBH. Glenn and you moderators play a key role in making this a great place as well - thanks. Love what skillet said - Friends you've never seen, let alone met. Riskkid, you made me "home sick" know exactly where you are talking about. Have thought that would be some good fishing there. Never lived in Nashville, but love TN and that area. Have been there many times and have been trying to move there for years. Interviewed probably half-a-dozen times with companies in Nashville but nothing ever happens. Have just come to accept the Lord does not want us there - feel like Moses looking over into the promised land.. Eddie Quote
