One set lure or many?

When you have a lure thats working great and stuff, do you want to have more of a challenge and change it up or do you stick to one lure faithfully till it doesnt work anymore? I like to stick to one because I'm not the kind of guy to try new things when the other is working just fine, I just wanna catch fish. How bout you guys?

Well, I base my lure of choice on a number of things such as seasonal patterns, and weather. If i am certain my lure of choice will work I will not change for a long time even if it isnt producing. If I am catching fish like no tomorrow on a certain lure however I will definately not tie on anything else. It is hard enough to catch fish in the first place. well.....some days anyway;)

i will not change i like catching fish cast after cast it doesnt get old to me because u still have to work the fish into biting the lure

Remember, it is a must to have an "arsenal" of lures. Not all lures will work at certain times of the year. Here are some articles that help you choose what lure would be a good choice, and as your bass fishing knowledge grows, you will be able to make all kinds of decisions on the fly

Uh that's a nope, if it's working I keep doing it until the bass stop & then I'll try to figure out why

If I find a bunch of fish I change lures just because I know the fish are there and I want to see what else they will hit on.Nows the time to bust out that Dancin Eel to see if it will work ;D

I normally keep 3 rods available with 3 different kinds of lures and if I don't have any success with one after about 15 minutes in a location, I'll pick up another and try that for about the same time before using the last different lure. IF the bass are hitting one of the 3, then I'll stick with it until it stops producing. After all 3 fail, which is kinda rare, I'll tie on something else.

What Falcon said - I have had a tendency in the past to get stubborn about my lure selection - it works, I stick with it - it stops working and I still stick with it - I am working on getting my mind set to begin thinking what would be a good switch to lure/technique when the action dies down.

Once I find a bite, I like to try other baits to see what they will hit, it's also a good time to try out new baits/presentations to learn the action and effectiveness, knowing they are biting helps confidence with a new presentation.

But when it comes down to it, there is nothing like figuring out what they want and giving it them in large doses!   ;D

It's fun when fishing with a buddy and be catching them like crazy and watching them scramble, of course I hate it the other way. I try not to let them suffer too long before giving one up, never know when that worm will turn.

i have 2 a plastic worm and a spinnerbait some days bass are aggressive and some days they are lazy

That's my 2 cents on that as well.  If you are moving to a new spot then try to repeat that same pattern elsewhere on the body of water you are fishing when the bite lays down some.  

If you are sticking around where you caught em before and know there's more to be had but they don't like that "one" any more then change baits and show em something new.

I'll keep with it especially if I get some hogs.  After a dozen or so dinks, i'll try switching something to get some big ones to bite.
