Well Bob Fench,Branford and Elais Marsalis,Germaine Bazzle and Harry Conick are all on stage' It turns out the Patriarch of the Batiste family: ALIVIN BATISTE (1932 TO 2007) one of the greatest clarinet players of all times,music teacher and historians has passed away this morning. I am so grateful that I have seen him several times. Quote

I remembe sitting too close to the stage when Al Hurt had his club in the Quarter when in high school and was blown away by the sound of his trumpet. Man, could ole Al play. Later. Quote
