justfishin Posted April 28, 2007 Posted April 28, 2007 New world record dog. Hercules was recently awarded the honorable distinction of Worlds Biggest Dog by Guinness World Records. Hercules is an English-Mastiff and has a 38 inch neck and weighs 282 pounds. With "paws the size of softballs" (reports the Boston Herald), the three-year-old monster is far larger and heavier than his breed's standard 200lb. limit. Hercules owner Mr. Flynn says that Hercules weight is natural and not induced by a bizarre diet: "I fed him normal food and he just grew".... and grew... and grew... and grew. Quote
Super User Raul Posted April 28, 2007 Super User Posted April 28, 2007 Weeeeeeelllll, the dog in the pic ain 't an English Mastiff for starters, that dog in the pic is a Neapolitan Mastiff. Quote
justfishin Posted April 28, 2007 Author Posted April 28, 2007 Sorry Raul. I just copied what it had on the web site. Any way you slice or dice it, you would need a backhoe to pick up his piles, lol. Quote

Ride problem solved, you saddle him Think about cleanin the crap up from that hing you'd need a few wheel barrels That 's in the case the dog craps out solid, which is rarely the case, they usually crap out quite loose so you need a hydrocleaner. Fisher of Men Posted April 28, 2007 Posted April 28, 2007 Here's some info. regarding this pic on snopes.com: http://www.snopes.com/photos/animals/hercules.asp It doesn't discredit this photo, just the information regarding Hercules. It also shows another pic of the dog and horse going away. That is ONE BIG DOG!! Quote
Guest the_muddy_man Posted April 28, 2007 Posted April 28, 2007 Wonder where he sleeps... : I WOULD GUESS WHEREEVER HE WANTS TOO :exclamation Quote
Low_Budget_Hooker Posted April 28, 2007 Posted April 28, 2007 I can take him. lol My brother has a bull mastiff, he doesn't "bite" you, he "pins" you down. It's hard wired into the specie. Bred to guard castles in the olden days, they pin you down and hold your neck with their mouth. SLOPPY!! Quote
John J. Posted April 28, 2007 Posted April 28, 2007 Wonder where he sleeps... : I WOULD GUESS WHEREEVER HE WANTS TOO :exclamation ;D ;D I would hate for him to sleep in the bed with me lol! Talk about taking up most of the room! ;D ;D ;D Quote

Guest avid Posted April 28, 2007 Posted April 28, 2007 Photoshop is alwys a possiblity, but I have seen mastiffs that are huge. I could never own a dog that could kill me AND eat me. I'd rather have a pet shark. Quote

Have to think that is a fake for sure though, Picture doesnt look right for one and the guy looks like he is squeezed down shorter. Use to eat roughy a 40lb bag every week to 9 days. Quote

Guest avid Posted April 29, 2007 Posted April 29, 2007 I don' mind these things revealed as false, Ya' know the japanese poodles, this mastiff etc. I just hope people don't hesitate this interesting, or funny stuff because they are afraid of being "exposed" as being duped. It's fun and really who cares that this may not be a real dog? I mean does anyone care that these puppies aren't real? Quote
