i go all the time usually once a week if i can and it doesnt really hurt that bad unless the people have souped up guns using angel dust and they are at point blank range. i just advise one thing dont get shot around your armpit that is the worst place to get shot besides your nuts.yeah but it doesnt hurt that bad i just have to wear a chest protector on my left side because of my heart problem i cant take blows like that to the heart.

GBF let me know how it goes i really enjoy it.

They dont hurt that bad except at point blank range, they also hurt if people are shooting over 300 fps. It just stings at first but you'll live.

I'm not gonna lie, it hurts, but it's nothing that would make you quit. Normally you won't mind it too bad, sometimes it can be like stubbing your toe. But don't get hit at close range, you can get some monster welts and even bleeding if you get shot at close range.

its not to bad.been shot in the knuckles before an they started to bleed but its tolerable.bare skin and your balls are bad. one of my friends once ran up to bang a group of people(cant bunker at this place so its a safer alternative). and this kid being new to the sport got scared and instntly turned and shot him right in the.......several times from no farther than 5 feet.needless to say he laid there for the rest of the game and they had to almost drag him out before the next one started.i recomend a cup but its not a nessecity.also watch your face. and wear gloves if possible

I prefer to wear a hooded sweatshirt.  Got hit in the back of the neck and head a few times.  Once I started wearing that, it didn't hurt nearly as bad.  Wear colors that will help you blend in.

Depends on how well you can handle pain?  ;)

I always play the sniper roll, inside of 50 yards my Tippmann 98 Nitro will apply a noticeable amount of pain, and you will undoubtedly know you have been hit.

Friend who paintballs told me the following:

1.  Layer your clothing, cuch as a good tee-shirt; a long sleeve shirt; and a hooded sweatshirt.

2.  Wear jeans.

3.  Wear a protective cup.

4.  Always were a face protector.  It is mandatory.

5.  Gloves that will not inpair your shooting ability.

And as the Grand Phooba on this site added, wear colors that blend in like you would wear when hunting.

You will feet the hits he said. But you can do what you can to help soften the blow.

Have fun.

Accuracy is in the eye of the shooter ;)

I don't play back row; I play in the woods  8-)

I went paintballing yesterday for 4 hours with some friends. Some of the shots did hurt but that is what makes it so fun. I do have a small cut on my head from one nasty shot that blurred my vision for about 5-10 seconds. I have slept all day today because of how intense some of the matches were, but it was sooo much fun. My best shot was mean but had me cracking up on the field. All I saw was a guy's hopper and hand sticking above a bunker pretty far away, so I lined up a single shot and nailed his hand. I saw it disapear and heard him scream "AWW F***!". I couldn help but laugh out loud. I apologized to him though so i'm not that mean... I think  :-/...
