So I'm waltzing around BestBuy yesterday, looking at video games and movies and such, when all of a sudden there's this weight on my back.  I turn to look and its this gorilla saying "You need a new graphics card."  So I bought one...

nVidia GeForce 7900

I spent more than I should have, I know, but this card kicks butt!  I never knew how crappy my graphics were until I hooked this thing up last night.  What a huge difference!

I thought you were all psyched about getting a new radial arm saw or something.

I wouldn't even know where to put a graphics card!  :-[

Hey fisher I also don't know were to put a graphics card. But when I was buying tools for school I was at sears at least once a week. They wanted to get me a credit card so I could get like 5% off. So I filled out the paper work and of course I was not accepted. But thats all right I still buy tools from there.

Ahahaha, I never even thought about confusing people, but I can see how it might have happened.  I've certainly been bitten by that hardware monkey too, otherwise why would I have a table saw that I've used 3 times in 5 years...

Sorry if I wasn't clear as to which hardware monkey...

Holy mackarel, this is a clear example that this bunch of nize people ( BR memebers ) are clearly divided into to two completely different generations, we the old guyz    and you the young guyz  . When I read HARDWARE monkey I immediately assumed you had just blown a good ammount of dough in tools.   :o

Crap, I 'm getting old  :-/ ........ maybe I should say I AM old.

Now speaking about hardware, I to have to update my pc 's video card, got a bunch of PC games that don 't run with the one I 've got.  :-[

Hey PB-  We're not criticizing your post subject.  It's just an indictment of our age.  :'(

Hey, man, I'm really envious now.  I've never owned a table saw in my life.

Oh man, as was me.  And I am only 14.  I was raised old school.  I thought maybe that ten pound box of 1/4" flat washers for 59 bucks got ya.

All you guys talking about tools just reminds me of how bad the tool monkey gets me every time im in home depot.  After the tool monkey gets me its only a matter of time before the lumber monkey gets me.

Back on topic about the GFX card, im stilling running my old GeForce 6600 lol.  Glad you like the new card!
