Super User Maxximus Redneckus Posted April 28, 2008 Super User Posted April 28, 2008 for me its black with a blue tail ZOOM Quote
MNGeorge Posted April 28, 2008 Posted April 28, 2008 In our Largemouth lake, it's red shad or tequila sunrise. In the river for Smallies, it's black with blue or pumpkin with a chartreuse tail. Quote
Avalonjohn44 Posted April 28, 2008 Posted April 28, 2008 Not a big scrutinizer of color but the first batch I got from *** were the color "Huckleberry". VERY successful. (and not very common among manufacturers), it's a green and purp core shot inside of a clear body. Different. That is a sweet color! My favorite is Natural Blue from Zoom, and it is similar to that Huckleberry color... I'm gonna have to order from *** now... Quote
Super User Tin Posted April 28, 2008 Super User Posted April 28, 2008 Any shade of Watermelon. Yup, with a spiked chartruee tail around spawn time. Quote

BassinBoy Posted April 29, 2008 Posted April 29, 2008 By far watermelon/red flake. I always thought that black would be good too because the bigger salamanders around here are black. Quote
